I have new ideas for the pack due to the resource pack features so if you would like to read them...
Replace sounds for the villagers with quotes from people in Apocalyptic movies and video games.
Make Hay Bales a crate of Tomato Preserve.
Change the charcoal texture seem more like actual charcoal.
Make a custom name for each of the items in your pack.
Make the font similar to the theme that is present with the nether portal and other things.
Make the Nether portal more substantial. It does not seem substantial enough to actually pass for a portal.
Make cave spiders a scorpion variant of Hell Maggot.
Make horses and pigs All terrain robotic vehicles (hover bikes, motorcycles, etc.) and make the Saddle a chip that overrides the AI for the robots. Or make the saddle a key.
Make the lead a knotted rope.

Look at my other post for ideas. Some of those are really top ...
Move some of the more stone-like wool textures to the dyed clay and add more abilities for decoration while making the wool have CTM properties so that TEiEV will no longer have to exist.
Make it so the enchantments are similar to the portal in color and effects.
Use CTM to change the texture of the stone pressure plate to the iron pressure plate, with a new texture for the stone plate.
Use real sounds for the weather and walking around.
Hardened clay is what the rubble (clay block) used to look like.
Horse armor is Armor plating!
Music disk play more apocalyptic sounds. Some sound like nature, others are recordings of a battle.
Custom Death messages!
Name tags are actual name tags.
Creative inventory is all mechanical!
Bow shot actually sounds like a gunshot!

•Convert it to the new format!
•Add in textures for all the new items added in 1.5 and 1.6!
The pack works with 1.5.2 pretty well. There are some items that have no textures:
Hopper.
Carrot on a Stick
Minecart with TNT
Minecart with Hopper
Bottle o' Enchanting
Ghast Tear
Blaze Rod
Neither Brick
Neither Quartz
Ender Chest
Neither Portal
Chainmail Armor.
Redstone Lamps have no texture on the top, just a black square.
There's a block of pink in the face of the clock. The comparator has no icon in the inventory, but it appears when you place it.
The Neither Quartz ore has no physical form, either icon or block. If you are holding a block of NQO, your hand disappears. And if you place a block of NQO, it creates a hole in the map, like the world holes did back in the day.
The armor icons use the default icons, but the armor is still textured when you wear it.
Now, the Iron Golem has no head, but I don't know if that's because of the TP or if it's something else.
Aside from these issues, the TP works just fine with 1.5.2. I have not tried it with 1.6, because I don't know how the TP conversion tool in MC Patcher works.

Oh, hello! Strike. I have something to say to both you and Santiago3.
I made a Resource Pack for this texture pack for vanilla minecraft 1.6
using your(Strikesmash1000) language pack.(Changed some Menu names though.)
I made it for only personal use, but seeing this awesome pack not being updated, I thought maybe I could send the resource pack I made.
As far as I know, all images are converted for vanilla.
I merged the textures, language pack and some gun sounds from http://soundbible.com for the sniper rifle(bow ) into one resource pack.
Maybe I'm fussing over nothing, It's just that I spent some time on this and didn't feel like have it stuck in my computer.
As you know, I cannot publish this myself without the permission for the languge pack and texture pack.
So I just suggested.

I like the hay bale idea, and the sound ideas, however just so you know, some of the things you mentioned (Enchantment textures, name tags, etc.) cannot be changed in a pack. Also, I do not like the horses or pigs being mechanical, but I think that that could be done in a different way. Diamond horse armor. It could fully cover the horse, making it easy to completely change the look. Cave spiders cannot be scorpions as they have no tail to texture. I think that the apocalypse quotes would get extremely annoying, because the talking villagers is horrible on it's own. Instead it could just be casual dialog, but quieter. On the plates, CTM doesn't work that way. Also, I think the music should just be classic songs, with the exception of 11, which would be a pre-recorded message from a fellow survivor. I liked some of your other ideas from the last post, but there are a few problems with this one (not the concept but that a few of them don't work) not trying to be mean or anything, just a few constructive criticisms.

I LIKE DIS IDEA! And yes, you can texture it. you just have to texture the bottom, back, and top of the back area to look like a tail I have seen it done and yes this does work.

This is the best Apocalyptic Texture pack I have ever seen (Whoever says Last Days is better does not know anything). We can't let it die!

Does anyone have a unoffical (fan edit) 1.5.2 or 1.6.x version of this TP? Me and some people want to play hypixels zombie map but dont want to ruin the experiance with default texture pack so we have been waiting for this to update. Thanks.

Download the current version and use an unstitcher tool to make it compatible with the new resource pack system.
