Presenting the Old York tower, the biggest and most complex building I've done so far!
It's based on the Yorkville building in the Downtown New Crafton map, with extensive... "renovations". I was going for a ruin patten that suggests multiple smallish rocket strikes. This one would be my choice for a base - room enough for a whole colony of survivors, with apartments and office spaces of various sizes.
Inspired by d341jerman, I made randomized foundations for 2 of my buildings.
And something I finally got around to building
I designed this sub to be sunk, so it doesn't have a lot of fancy bits. Most of the interior walls use a random rule to create a jumble of nearly all the technical-looking blocks. Bring your diving helmet, air bucket, and light source for salvage operations!
Also: road fragments, a brick sewer dungeon and a small buried bomb shelter.
I'm happier with this variation, but ARGH, that damned 3D book is showing up here too. Hmm. Might have to tackle this one later.
I don't have any great ideas, but my vote would be to keep the GUI computer-ish to match the block., which I really like.
Really impressed with how it's all coming together! Well, impressed and a bit grossed out =)
The hideous mutants and the cultists gave me an idea for another building, a highly randomized (chaotic!) Temple of Nyarlathotep!

Oh my goodness! I can't wait to see what you come up with for the temple!
Also, I'd love schematics for the sewer and the bomb shelter, if that's okay too. Your designs are quite fun to work with!

Cavechunk, those buildings are fantastic! I feel I should play minecraft again soon, try to make a skyscraper. Never really did that...
The temple sounds amazing. Do now!
Cavechunk, your structures are as fantastic as ever. I really can't imagine using this pack without adding some to the environment
The sole complaint I have with TEIEN right now is that there are really only two types of planks that are suitable for regular building - spruce and jungle. Both birch and oak look very strange when placed side by side for creating walls and whatnot, since birch is supposed to look like a crate, and oak... not sure what oak is supposed to look like.
Are there plans for CTM versions of these planks so that the hard lines go away when you're placing them side by side? This'd have a side effect of letting us use multiple birch planks to create larger crates, too!

Here are the originals... but I'm not sure how you place stuff like the sewers underground unless there's a trick. If you really want, I can try to grab spawned instances of them out of a world. Small Bomb Shelter Sewer
This is just a test of what I want most of the exterior to look like. It may or may not wind up as a pyramid. Inside, I'm thinking high vaulted ceilings with columns built of mixed detritus with clusters of lights. An altar, pulpit, flaming netherrack or lava pool are possibilities. I'm also thinking of levels going deep underground like the Battle Basement that's in Ruins. Ideas welcome, I'm just planning now.

That is awesome. Very creative solution to the limitations of that GUI.
I usually just fill them with an unrelated material, then replace it with air once the thing is in the ground. That being said, I wouldn't be adverse to a grabbed spawned instance or two, haha.

Ooh, interesting ideas! I like the idea of high vaulted ceilings and underground levels. I bet you could have a lot of fun with redstone torches too!

Here is another schematic of the sewers, conveniently stuffed with yellow wool (the water is white wool here, too). I use that fill for random placement of cobwebs & spawners. The sewers are really an experiment with making tunnel/dungeon parts that can easily be extended and put together in any configuration.

Very nice. I like the big drop and the grates! Nice work!

I like this one better as well!
*salivates* Nicely done! Excellent work! Do you mind if I use these in my next map, Gasoline Dorado?
I really am consistently impressed with your work, Cavechunk!

Cenobites!
Behold! The enchanting Print-O-Matic!
Just type in the item you want, print out a label for it and bam! You've got yourself an enchanting upgrade to your tool or weapon!
that is so awesome! I love it! The keyboard inventory is marvelous!
Dear lord! That thing fits the title of "Creeper" just right. And the enchanting screen is wonderfully original. Great work Santiago~
