... (the sides of the head have more detail for the mask, btw!).
I love the helmet as it's shown, please don't scrap it entirely! (As an optional texture maybe?)
It really reminds me of Blacklight: Retribution style of helmets. Do you happen to play that at all?

Never played it! However, I'm going to be keeping the design by and larger (though I did move around the lens and added two smaller supporting lenses and a small breathing apparatus).
Sorry if my previous post seemed demandy. I meant it more as a suggestion, but I kinda blacked out on that train of thought.
I don't have anything against the helmet being one piece, but the face-side of it just isn't right... I mean, with that kind of camera, you won't be seeing any depth! Breathing apparatus would surely help break up the emptiness of it.

Ooh, sounds neat! Looking forward to seeing this as it evolves. Cool work!

While playing on jerman's survival map, I noticed a major issue while playing survival. It is too difficult to tell which item is selected on the hotbar at a glance, and being charged by 5 creepers is not a time to be uncertain of where your sword is.

are you talking about the diamond sword because the rest seem to be obvious. But i think i understand what you mean about it, like how similar everything is for diamond tools but i kinda like them all similar so meh

It's not the similarity of the tools, but the actual hotbar. The borders are thin and white, and so is the selected item box. So not only do those two blend in, but they also blend in with the landscape.
Really loving the pre apocalyptic feel this texture pack gives me! Damn those zombies scared the crap out of me!

"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible. This I did."

Next release is going to have a MUCH better UI system. That stuff bothers me too. Trust me, it'll be accounted for
Okay folks, we're getting down to the wire for 1.4's release on October 24th.

2. ALL villagers DONE!
3. Associated armor items
4. 1.4 specifc new items
5. 1.4 specifc new blocks (anvil included)
6. The Witch (which will be an alien-brain-sucker-squid controller villager)
7. The Pig Zombie
8. The Iron Golem DONE!
9. CTM support via super-support from Reubenx! DONE!
The Maybes:
1. Chickens (now turkeys)
2. The bats (Probably still just bats)
3. Possibly a re-skin of the ENTIRE Nether. I've recently had a good idea for this.
4. Re-do of the Creeper skin
The Future:
1. New sky, both night and day
2. The End is Here pack variant. Behold, I am become Death, destroyer of cubes.

WOW! Very cool! When it comes to the skulls (and/or wither skulls) are you going to keep them as skulls or make them look like mob heads? I kind of like the idea of having skulls to place around as decorations, haha.

Probably won't have a chance to tackle the Wither in the immediate new release, but it'll be up next, definitely, in the future
BTW, what should you expect from The End is Here pack variant?
I suggest you rent the movie The Road. Better yet, read the book. It's going to be THAT desolate.

Very cool! The book "The Road" is one of my favorite books. Such poetry! I fell in love with McCormack's style immediately. I'm looking forward to working with it! Maybe I'll make a third "Dead Earth" Map to go along with it!
As for the wither, no worries, haha. I'll just avoid going hog wild with sprawling fields of skulls until you figure it out, hehe.

Oh, and I have a devilishly terrible idea for the creepers. It's gonna make stormy nights in Minecraft abso-freakin'-lutely nerve-racking.
I'm Canadian, and we already had thanksgiving :/
As for the creepers, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, don't make them even more invisible than they already are. They are the scariest creeper skin I have seen, That head floating out of the shadows...
