so far i ahave seen 2 things that stick out at me in this packs latest form. and one that feels right for a post vanilla compleation.
1ST the squid crates are a great idea, and look great but considering the post apocolyptia feel for this pack. I'd say more like they are crates that survivors lost wile trying survive out to sea or on the way to islands.
2ND the spider replacements and the slime idea. whos entirely to say those phantom legs in the water isn't the slime that can only be seen in the water. or i dont know if its posible to but make the legs them selves semi clear light greys and whites so they are barely visible above water.
and finaly once this packs vanilla is 100% i hope to see you work make a pack for mods like industrialcraft, buildcraft and the like as they fit in rather well with the postapocaliptia rebuilding vibe

There are no good people in the world only evil people with opposing goals
Oh nooo! This update makes just about everything I had built look bad.
I had a powerplant built with the wirey looking jungle planks. And some of the paintings that look like logos look dumb as I now have a bookshelf instead of a disheveled company sign lol.
I'll have to keep the old version, and make a new world based on the new textures.
Also, what does it mean when it says a vanilla version?
Yes I finally created a username to tell you all this, (Santiago) because I love this texture pack very much.

Heya! Glad you like the pack! If you want, you could always just put the kz.png from the old pack into the new one and keep your art placements that way. If you know how to use photoshop or gimp you could always put together your own variation of the pack with the old wiring jungle wood texture too
hay santiago they havent fixed the spider problem when you hit them and when they are in the water you see invisible legs just thought you should know but they still scare the crap out of me
I've seen packs before that don't use the entirety of the Spider's skin, and have had the "problem" of the Spider's shape showing up when you hit it. I don't think one would be able to fix this with a texture pack, without modding minecraft itself. So I wouldn't worry about it. But on the other day, on my creative world, I pissed off a spider, and whenever the "Hell Maggot" managed to crawl over something, the "Shadow" of a spider's leg's would conceal anything there. Water, blocks, signs, etc. Were you still concerned 'bout all this?
I don't exactly understand the difference between the Nigh and the Vanilla variation.

I HAVE LASER POWERS!
Nigh has alien plant-life and building block wools, Vanilla has normal plant-life and regular ol' wool.
Alright, thanks. :3

Never thought about combining the two packs for the best of both worlds!
Thanks Santiago.
One more comment on your pack,
Yours is the only texture pack I've used that the pieces literally inspire creation.
Well done, 10/10 as they say these days.
EDIT: Oh! One more thing. In one of your screenshots or have a more glassy looking window. I can't seem to find that anywhere in the pack. Do you know where I might be able to find that texture?
Second Edit: After a little texture replacing in photoshop and some confusion in why my texture pack wasn't being loaded properly (I zipped the folder instead of the files) the job was a success!
The top of the power plant is fenced off. Includes a warning sign! Close up to the power station. Feel those dangerous Nether energies!
Entrance to Station 11 "The Window" where experiements with Nether energies took place.
Nether Portal room. Incomplete. Needs more monitors.
So I was working on Something Neat, but then 1.3 happened and Ruins isn't quite updated yet. I'd say it's extremely nigh though.
I had a brainfart: how about making gold & gold items electronic/"cyber" gear? Gold has the best enchantment modifier and the enchanting table is a computer. You could dig up circuit boards & wiring buried in rubble craft it into half-baked gadgetry, then "reflash the ROM" at your Terminal. The equipment can do amazing things but isn't very durable, which is about what you'd expect for gadgets in the wasteland. The gold block could be a decorative, useless monitor or similar computer gear. Diamond is already high-quality tech, so it'd fit. As for why your Terminal can sometimes give strange powers to machetes and such, well, uh... =)

I'm gonna assume you gave me the rep. Thank you :3
I want to start using the pavement. Any idea what block would probably look best for sidewalk?
EDIT: Totally the tops of sandstone makes the best sidewalk.
