Since it went by fairly unnoticed last post, there is a slight tiling error in the lava.(The biggest hardened chunk can be easily seen)
If you can't see it:
EDIT: There's actually a straight line intersecting the ones I put on it. So, yeah.
Thanks for pointing this out! I'll see what I can do, but no guarantees. It's hard to make something tile 100% perfectly on small surfaces over great lengths. Just part of the game, sadly. Good catch though
Hey Steelfeathers, check this out! Less plain wools.
Also putting in a few secret additions to what I've been calling "The End is Extremely Vanilla."
MUCH better. And much more fitting. The other ones looked a bit out of place. This is much better-- I'm actually excited about using these! (Although I would ask if perhaps you could make the green wool a bit darker to differentiate it from the lime wool).
I went looking at one of my buildings in your texture pack, and I noticed that the creepers look a lot like floating goblin heads, but that they still drop gunpowder, which goblins are not known to do. The way you have them, they look like the goblins from Prince of Persia 2 (the old DOS game, not the new one). If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a link to a video of the goblins.
In this game, they simply disintegrate, so maybe you could make it look like some sort of goblin dust. Anyway, those are just my thoughts on the matter. I know you're pretty busy on "vanilla-ising" the pack, and I think the option of art or vanilla is a big step for this pack. I'm looking foreward to the next update almost as much as I am for 1.3!
been using E.I.E.N for awhile now, great in W.I.P. loved downloading the new textures and seeing what was changed and such, I haven't had a chance to download the pack for awhile now, downloading at moment though, just wondering if the armor textures were done yet, if not id like the idea of having different kinds of "HAZMAT" suits, or something of sorts, like leather could be a kind of rubbery suit with visor and such for helmet geting progessively more advanced as you get better armor, diamond being the best. anyways that's just my idea
Any chance we're going to see Connected Texture support for this pack? For example, for roads and windows. And for sand and grass, to make it more wasteland-like. It would be cool if you could make a large, connected texture for open, grassy terrain.
What is the Connected Texture stuff you mention? I could possibly look into this if you give me some info!

Usually I would love to explain this to you, but MCpatcher has finally made something that I can not rap my head around. I will tell you were you can get more info though. MCpatcher under info for texture pack makers. IT allows you to make it so when the same blocks are placed next to each other, their textures are connected.
I'm not too good at explaining things but ill do my best for this, Connected textures make blocks that normal are very repetitive into a single block texture, i dont quite get what it does for other blocks but i have seen glass so ill use that as an example, glass blocks when normally placed have the single texture and when you make a window it looks like its a bunch of squares in any shape that you build the window, however connecter textures remove the inside lines and you have just the border outlining the window, thats the best i can do to describe it, i can post a screenshot though if needed

Please do. I'm curious to see what it looks like.
Also: Sorry I've been slow lately folks. Been crazy busy again, but I've wanted desperately to sit down and crank out art for you all. Just not enough hours in the day lately :(!
So I was working on my own pack, and I had just finished up the Soulsand. And I wondered to myself, "I wonder what this would look like when paired with Santiago3's fleshy Netherrack?"
Turns out I should have waited until after dinner to find out. *Urgh...*
Great texture man! (Better than ANY other apocalyptic texture!) But I was wondering if you could just give an estimate on when it'll be 100% done. Thanks!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
We are just little chunks of sentient meat sitting here on a ball of dirt, but it's good to believe in something.

I know that's unsatisfying to some, but that's just the truth. It's a hobby, not a job.

I know you probably don't want this word describing your apocalyptic pack, but those are gorgeous!

Ok, that settles it, WANT NAO!
In fact I kinda creeped myself out last night just thinking about it while I was building on my TEiEN map.
