LOVE the texture pack man! its awsome and vary ideal for some maps! But my only dislike about the texture pack is the grass it looks too blocky i mean minecraft is all about blocks, but you know. But either way i love it allot!
i love this texture pack. i kindof want to create s challenge map that is based on the world in the war. i will not create download but rather put a link to your post.
Just to add a personal note of my own, separate from the review - I really like this pack, been using it ever since I spotlighted it. Dang thing is addictive! Nice work on making a sharp, immersive "World isn't quite down the drain yet" pack, I very much look forward to seeing where it goes.
Thank you so much!! I'm excited that you'd review it. It means a lot to see this little pack recognized
Got me right back into working on it, actually. So everyone here can thank you, personally, when the next release comes out Hehe.
Can someone help me? I love this texture pack, and started using it today. In the video that I saw that showcased this texture pack, the lava was animated. However, after downloading, installing, and selecting the pack, the lava IS NOT moving... Any ideas what might be wrong?

Instructions on how to install should be on those threads.
Glad you decided to work on the pack Santi, but it is too bad it took something like getting spotlight to get you motivated enough. You deserve it though.

Actually, I was just busy with a lot of Real Life (TM) stuff, another project ("Stormin' Norman" coming soon to Android, Kindle Fire, iOS platforms, etc!), and hadn't really played Minecraft in a while. When I saw this I realized I'd had a lot of fun making this pack and also that I'd left it in an unfinished state, so I came back.
What I'd *REALLY* like to do is wrap a full-scale mod around it. Anyone know a programmer interested in post-apoc gaming?
I've been watching this texture pack for a long time now, and I've loved how it's turned out!
As far as a mod goes, that'd be awesome to try out sometime in the future. Maybe a almost-apocalyptic dungeon builder, like the Better dungeons mod.
If you want to see this texture pack in action, try it out on the hunger games 2.0 map! The ruined cityscape brings out the best in this texture pack!
Personally, I think you should get a group of people who are good at making adventure maps and do one of those! Work it in with the upcoming "adventure mode" that should be coming in 1.3, and you got yourself an almost-apocalyptic minecraft story in the best atmosphere of it's type!

Hey I pmed you asking if I could use this, but you never got back to me, so I'm trying here. Can I use your texture pack so I can do a sort of community story telling? i've built a city with your texture pack and I'm going to use user input to tell a story on the forums, but I need to know if I need to make my own texturepack. Yours is the best cityscape I've seen, so I'd like to use it. Would appreciate a response
I'll be updating the set eventually. Sooner than later. I'd like to get the enemy mobs finished before the next release.
Upon the next release will also be a supplemental release which will make another version of the set with plain colored wools, bolted metal plates for iron and gold blocks, etc. So that this set will work easily with vanilla Minecraft sets.
What could it be?

Well, I think it is a skeleton due to the thing it's holding.

THAT would be amazing. Also, you should just finish the items while you have the motivation.

@deadjaw
Thanks a million! Worked great... I now have moving lava, and the netherack no longer looks like flowing water!
Well I am glad anyway that you're back now.
No problem yo.
