It's a shame, really, because the texture space for the zombies' heads IS 32x32 which means it's a per-pixel match with the surrounding blocks (which are around the same size, 32x32). So in order for things to look good you kinda need to do it that way!
I'll include the alts with a strictly 32x32 pack though. I must remember that...
Hmm, how about this... when I'm done with the weapons, tools, and zombies, I'll make a 1.5 version release?
Sound fair to everyone? I kinda liked the idea of making things complete before iteration, though. So please balance your desire for more tasty arts with a desire for a more complete experience :biggrin.gif:!
Hey first off, I will be using the 64x mobs, and I know I'll love them. Second, usually, waiting to complete the entire items.png before updating would take forever, but at the speed your doing this, I'd be fine with waiting.

Sorry if I made it seem like I was comin' down on ya there! Not my intent! :smile.gif:
Decided I'm going to be making the mobs at 64x64 to keep up with the rest of the textures (even though they're 32x32). It's because the UVs on the models aren't the same pixel resolution as the rest of the game, at least it seems so.
Santi*, I've looked at this a while back, it's best to keep the mobs the same resolution as blocks, because comparing 16x terrain and 32x mobs, it just doesn't work out. The mobs turn out higher detailed than the blocks, and it is noticeable. Also, there's the whole can't handle 64x textures problem plenty people have.
You do what you want, but I'd keep them the same resolution.
*I hope you don't mind me calling you that, I love the name Santi...

I don't mind a bit!
It sounds like I'll probably have to put out a proper 32x32 texture set alongside a mixed set. Don't worry, I'll mark 'em properly so people don't get the wrong ones :wink.gif:!
Excuse me officer, I'm in need of assista-- oh dear...
Naw... They're so cute...
What about the blood/goo on the business man?
+ I like the wedding ring on his finger, small details like that just make me smile.
Although a few ideas. The stone, cobblestone and stone brick textures don't make sense, when im mining and i break stone, I get blocks that look more like stone bricks than the dirty gritty sort of stone. And i already had loads of stone brick houses before i got the texture pack, now the look all wierd.
Perhaps swapping the cobblestone and stone brick texture please? And make the cobblestone textures (once they're swapped) a bit more, shambled and dirty. Thanks.

But imagine digging a gray/cobbely smooth-stone and receive a white/polished cobblestone :huh.gif:

Oh, that's an unfinished version. He snuck into frame when I was taking a picture :wink.gif:
Glad you like the ring! Details are part of the fun :biggrin.gif:!
Hmmm looking more on the zombies, I don't know if I like them. THe great thing about this pack is the subtlety of it. And I think the new zombies are a bit to over the top "WE ARE ZOMBIES" Maybe it's just the gore.

Oh, no problem, sorry if I came of defensive.

This one is sooooo epic
Seeing as you're bringing us such wonderful gifts, does this mean we get to call you Santi Claus? :biggrin.gif:

Gawd, I want to punch them in the face !
Edit : In my opinion, the 64x texture for mobs fit totally
Check this texture pack out !

Hrmm... I suppose between 32 and 64, it works. Although, that may be because of your amazing textures.

I knew it! I could sense the lack of detail in the suit. I want to see how he turns out... Work faster!
