In terms of the zombies I'd just like to mention that the gasmask when made me jump as soon as I saw it, but after calming down I'd say go with the blindfold, while of course including the rest for randomobs.
I go with the Blindfold too but the Gasmask is also very creepy !

What do you think about having the zombies (plural, thanks Random Mobs!) being average citizens taken over by the Nether goo stuff? Could have some creepy potential! Let me hear your thoughts :biggrin.gif:!

Also, love the pack, has the perfect feel to it! One thing I would like to see, is the paint on the road strips go both ways, one block for one, one for the other, but that is just me.
The new idea, the goo infected survivors, is actually what I expected you to do in the first place. It could be pretty cool! I just hate to see those previous textures disappear, so I hope whatever happens that those are included as alternates.
But certainly more alien-goop stuff would be good. As it is, we just have the dead shrubs and the nether to go off of with what happened to civilization.
I'm workin' hard. I don't plan on releasing this map until this texture pack is done. It may come with a few mod recommendations, too (though it'll hardly be dependent).

Great Texture Pack dude!!! When's the next update gonna come out? and can you get working on the weapons and armor a bit faster? I hate The originals! Btw, That's kinda what she said, but no offence.

OT: Well, breaking it down, it seems perfectly possible with already existing mods.
For the new weapons, there's the ever present SDK's Guns Mod.
For the new mobs and the style in which they attack, the Invasion Mod could be used.
Corruption Block by Nandonalt can make the nether stuff spread, but I don't know if he's updated it yet.
Depending on what you mean by "turrets made of spare parts" if you're talking multi block there are plenty of mods that add ruins, if you're talking functioning weapon though, there's IndustrialCraft's tesla coil, but of course it would have to be altered so it needs a clear line of sight...
Decided I'm going to be making the mobs at 64x64 to keep up with the rest of the textures (even though they're 32x32). It's because the UVs on the models aren't the same pixel resolution as the rest of the game, at least it seems so.

About the zombies, I'm all for the new infected nether goo people-type-monsters, but with randommobs could you possibly include the original 3 so that some may be zombies, and others may be nether infected goo people-type-monsters. That's a mouthful.

It's a shame, really, because the texture space for the zombies' heads IS 32x32 which means it's a per-pixel match with the surrounding blocks (which are around the same size, 32x32). So in order for things to look good you kinda need to do it that way!
