What happened to the iron sword being a crowbar though? I liked that idea. If you leave it as a sword, maybe make it look more beat up. Or something. I'm still to amazed at Owiren's city to give good feedback on the pack itself.

I jostled a few things around while working on items for the texture pack. Realized that the crowbar could be better used for prying loose rocks and ores than it could be for smashing mobs (I mean, you can still totally do that, but the machete I made is way better at it).
So far the testing of the items and skins is going superbly. I wandered into a HUGE cavern system last night and was mobbed by floating ghoul head creepers (which have a super special new effect added to them which I'll keep as a surprise for the next release!). I'm going to start working on the mob and armor sets next. Should be fun and interesting!
I like the premise behind this, it is rather original. Once you feel that this is in a state of relative completion (though many artists never view their work as complete) would you consider creating a sequel and a prequel, having three flavours on offer similar to Dokucraft?
Also, you're use of every pixel is incredible, far better than mine. Giving almost every texture it's own subtle, unique detail.
That's certainly a possibility. I have mulled over the idea of doing a Super Wasteland version of the texture pack wherein everything is dead and dying. Very gray. I still want to toss a few rays of light in there, but the majority of it should feel like The Road.

I really like this texture pack. But can you make the darker version, but just make the over all feel darker, like the sky or the brightness of the pixels, not everything died or dying. But anyway its still amazing! :biggrin.gif:
Hey Santiago, don't know if you heard, but the new MCpatcher allows you to change a lot of previously hard coded textures. You might to check that out, as I'm sure you could do some great stuff with it.

Hey everyone! I'm working on baddies right now and I've come up with 3 different potential zombies. So I need your input! Which one do you like best? Please vote below!
I'd personally go with Zombie 1, due to the just-out-of-the-hospital look. Sure, he'll need painkiller for a while, but he should be fine.
Zombie 2 looks like a jail-cell and mental hospital decided to join together. Not sure what the aim was...
Zombie 3 looks like an ex-army guy. He died easy, bullet to the heart...
Santi, I'm slightly saddened by these. It looks like you cheaped out on the end-of-the-hands texture.
EDIT: Oh you labeled them as to what you were aiming for!

Gasmask, that's helpful. Although, it brings to question, where is my gasmask? Why does a zombie need air!
Definitely the blindfold for the default. Very creepy, and the gore is nicely done. But you should include all three! The MCPatcher for HD textures also adds the Random Mob mod as well. I'm not sure how you name the images to make it compatible with that, but all three zombies are great and I'd want to see them all in game!

OMG, that pictures looks like just like the pictures from the "Hyperbole and a Half" blog. Awesome.
