Texture pack looks amazing. However, the grass feels a tad flat, but one can get used to that. Oh, and the smooth brick and cracked brick textures need to be switched. (Current, the cracked brick is using the smooth brick texture and vice versa). Definitely thinking about keeping this as my main texture though!
Edit: Oh, the item bar UI looks great by the way. I'll be anticipating the release of a more finished version.
Edit2: The still water and lava could use a little in place movement as well... It's a little.... weird.. having still lava/water.
Should host this somewhere other than PMC. It's not responding and not letting me download the pack. Anyone else having this issue?
EDIT: Yeah... They're having SQL errors. Lol, lovely.
EDIT EDIT: Santiago, please re-up this to a more reliable website like Dropbox, mediafire, or elsewhere. I just spent 20mins worth of timeouts/SQL errors/and 404 errors on PMC. It'd make it way easier.
I've been giving this pack a serious run through on my main creative world and much to my dismay I've found things I'm able to criticise. The soul sand when seen in large plains has a major tiling problem in that there is a distinct grid pattern visible, while when viewed close up next to netherrack the border between the two is clearly visible, even when your cursor isn't on one of the blocks. The gravel looks like it was simply a recolor of the stone, when I first saw the two next to each other I thought I had a lighting error. The stone brick texture that has the reebar sticking out of it (I can't tell for sure which variety it is) doesn't transition well into either of the other stone brick textures. While it certainly was an interesting idea to texture the nether brick specifically so it fit the fences, it creates for very odd looking nether bricks in that it looks like a very blocky face showing its teeth and the transition from wall to floor just looks a bit...off. Speaking of the fences, there's also a problem with the way they connect, I can't explain it in words so I'll try to get a screenshot up later. Also, why do signs share the same texture as orange wool?
There are a few other things but I think they would be better explained with screenshots so I'll try to get some up soon.

There are alternate signs to use within the pack. Since most of my sign usage is making arms for chairs I went with that as the main option. Simply open up the texture pack and change the name of the sign_ALT_1.png to sign.png and you're set!
Thank you for the feedback! Very helpful and constructive!
I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but just from examining the terrain.png I have to say that it looks fabulous. I really want to build an adventure map around this pack. :smile.gif:
My only comment (at the moment) is that I would still like to see 'normal' vines. I think they can be creepy and end-of-the-world-ish without being grotesque. Maybe thick spanish moss? With the fog turned up that would be very creepy. Something like this:
I'll be sure to give you a longer, more detailed review after I've had a chance to play with it for a while. Again, wonderful job!
Glad you thought it was helpful. In any case, I decided that I need to go to bed, you know, school and all that :dry.gif: so I'll just describe the other stuff I noticed instead of messing around with image hosting sites for now.
For green and lime wool, the ones you textured to resemble roads, well if a road is going one direction the lines down the middle look like this.

But if you turn it 90 degrees the lines look like this.

For the nether brick fences, I suggest just going into a creative world and then creating a line of them going north-south and another line going east-west. Once you've done that, take a close look at the connections between the fences.
Finally, your stone brick textures seem to be in the wrong places in the terrain.png, because my buildings which were primarily made of stone brick with occasional cracked and mossy bricks have only occasional bits which are entirely intact while nearly all of the blocks have chips of paint missing from them.

I think the goopy stuff I put in is going to go the way of the dodo! That's fine though :wink.gif: The idea of using Spanish moss is a good one... hmm, maybe soon I'll have to put out a 1.1 :wink.gif:
@Inatun: can't really help the road texture wools. It bothered me too, but outside of making a third wool that's just a 90 degree turned stripe, I can't see a way past it. Hmm :/
I love this pack. I delayed sleep just to play it.
I love how this changes everything about Minecraft... but subtly. All of my critique has already been said, so ya. Please, don't stop making this ever.
THE END IS EXTREMELY NIGH v1.0

Okay, off to bed for me then, good night.

Thank you all for the feedback!
PS: can I put this as my signature to advertise your texture pack a bit :smile.gif: ?
edit: I think the powered redstone should be a bit different from the non-powered one because it's confusing me with my redstone projects.
Check this texture pack out !
