My Minecraft's been lagging a lot lately. I'm not sure why. I tried deleting temporary files, et cetera.

So, maybe a nice, basic texture pack will help. :biggrin.gif:
Anything that is 16x16 should speed up Minecraft; I don't think that the compression benefits of using simple graphics would be worthwhile at this resolution.
Also, does this lag only occur on one world or does it happen with a newly generated world?

I don't know.
I've been using the same world for quite a while. It's a good seed.
Anyway, if it's because of the seed, then that's sad. I liked the terrain. :L

It probably isn't caused by it, but try generating a new world. If it is the world's fault, it can usually be repaired.
