This is my first texture pack, So thought I would keep it simple to start. I am currently working on a 32x pack, but its not a "simple" type so taking more time. I know there are tons to simple looking texture packs out there already. But wanted to at least try to share what I have done with the community.

Hello, I personally don't care much for these types of "simple packs" but I know many people do, and I can tell you put you're time into this so Good Job in other words.

Maybe add more detail?
Well I thought about adding more detail, but wasn't sure about doing it or not, Wanted to keep a nice simple look. Mainly because my wife's Laptop doesn't like Minecraft at all. But when I tried a really basic pack in the past it worked wonders for her FPS. If there is a certain block that should have more let me know, and I will do what I can, I thought the tiling on the glowstone and such was cool, but I'm a little uncertain on it now.
You might want to fix the tiling problems on the glowstone and netherrack :smile.gif:.
Haha thanks, just noticed that. Thanks I was laying them out like that so i could see the tiling, then i went to go to the store and skipped that and just took a picture and posted.
I'm not even going to bother telling you that you people don't like it when people make simple packs, so to avoid the flamming that I and many others want to, but will not give, make it unique and put effort into making it more of a cartoon pack, not just a couple of colors on one block. Make this something someone else couldn't just make in Gimp or Photoshop in a couple of minutes. Do what you can to make this your own.

I do completely understand where you are coming from, like I said this is my first pack and it is a WIP. I just wanted to at least post it and see if people like it. I my self personally don't use simple textures. I made this for my wife, and she said it looked good to post and see if anyone else liked it.
After doing all the terrain blocks, I started learning a bit more about how to make the blocks look better see my glowstone and netherack (pictures are kinda outdated because I fixed the tiling issue) On my 32x or possibly 64x pack I am working on there will be a lot more time put into it.
Think of this more as a test pack than a "Final" But I will continue to support it if people do happen to like it.

-New Glowstone
-New Cobblestone/Mossy Stone
-New Ice

Would like to get some criticism and opinions about what I have done/can change to make it better.
Hopefully I have my 32x Pack out soon, but don't worry, It won't be basic (unless someone wants a high rez of this).
