You can use custom colours on mcpatcher but I don't recommend it.
As much as I love utilising all the features on mcpatcher I just can't get my head around half of it.
It took me a good month to figure out how to make good animated lava, portals and water. Then I finally made animated torches, furnaces and fire. Now it's one of the easiest things I can ever do for a texture pack. This custom colour thing however will take a lot of work to understand. I read the post but I guess I need someone to talk it through with me because it just won't compute
So yes, you can use it if you want, but it won't look "right" as I haven't actually made my own properties file for it -yet-.
I look forward to the improvements you make once you figure out custom colors.

On an update to that.
I've figured it all out I think.
Just have to keep testing over and over to get the right colour formats.
This should also come in very handy with my Wastelandcraft texture pack. (Not updated yet due to Wasteland mod still not updated)
Also Cubiclife has become a big hit on PlanetMinecraft!
So I'm very happy about that.

I like this texture pack so far. The work is fantastic. However I do seem to have an issue I can't seem to solve. My iron armor is all white and patchy for some reason. Not sure why. I've tried replacing the armor folder yet that's clearly not it. Giving up for the night but any insight as to why this is would be much appreciated. My account is new so I can't attach an image to this either. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Edit: I got it. There was a strange file corruption going on with the zip folder. Just needed to redownload it and it worked fine.

What this is:
It first started out as my old Realistic HD Texture Pack I wanted a Minecraft that looked high quality and high resolution while still being able to recognise my surroundings. The feedback for that pack was overwhelming and soon enough I had many requests to include my work into their own. Scuttles asked to use my texture pack as a template for a pack he was working on. I was curious as to what he could do. He ended up creating LB Photo Realism. I was shocked by how popular it was. So after much thinking I decided to work on my own photo realism pack. Add my own special touch to my already outdated pack and to also add more flavour to the already booming texture pack list. So this pack was born.
I was ready to release it for 1.7 but then 1.8 came out and the 1.9 Pre releases soon after. So development has really been a problem. However I have had my pack on my site open to the public and after a largely popular video teaser I raked up over 5,000 downloads for that pack alone with more and more people checking it out and providing feedback.

V4 - Updated the texture pack to 1.2. New Textures! Jungle Wood, leaves and Sapling, Cat textures, Bottle of enchanting and Redstone Lamps.
V3 - New Textures for the 12w03a Snapshot: Jungle leaves and wood! Updated Pack to 1.1 so that means a new Spawn Mob Egg. A few texture fixes which include a slightly edited Iron ore texture and I reverted woodenplank texture back to what it was in early alpha.

Love it!!! I thank you so much for putting your time into making this texture pack. will you be making more textures for mods in the technic packs. I would love to use this in technic as well (textures look a bit funky when not all of them are in HD)

I've actually been playing quite a lot of Tekkit lately and so I've been considering adding textures for it.
Some people have been having problems getting the textures to work though so I need to look into how easy it would be first (I'm currently using default to play Tekkit)
With just a few weeks left until 1.3 you'll see this (and all my other texture packs) being updated with a few mod supports too.
I won't promise to do mod supports though, it's all subject to how much time I have to put into it haha.

This is probably the first high-resolution or realistic texture pack that I don't absolutely HATE, because it's not so painfully obvious how the blocks tile (as is common in high-res packs). Unfortunately, my computer is absolute crap, so I can't use it. All the same, nice job on this.
Glad to see people still use and enjoy this texture pack.
I do too on occasion but I'm still stuck on my Cubiclife texture pack, it's so much better

Also included is mod support for Connected Textures!
And as an added bonus I've finally added Thirst Mod textures too!

Turn your damn Connected Textures off in the Options if you're using Optifine.
