This pack will most likely never end. Unless Cubiclife ends up becoming my favourite then it might turn out like my HD Realistic pack did haha.
However all my packs are being worked on at the moment including this one.
I take in ALL feedback, good and bad. I make changes if I agree with them or not.
Coal and iron will be changing in the coming update once Minecraft 1.1 comes out. Iron will be getting a facelift to look more like mangetite or hematite.
Not sure about the other changes as I like the way they look now. But I like the idea of making it a trunk instead. I'll see what I can come up with, see if I like it :biggrin.gif:
I intend on changing the furnace because it's getting a bit old now. Depending on how long I have left until 1.1 I might not work on that just yet.
But yeah thanks for the reply. I hope you continue to provide feedback for my other packs too. Especially my new work in progress: Cubiclife.

I am piecemealing a texturepack together, taking my favorite parts of texturepacks and combining all the pieces to make an epic texture pack. I started this for personal use but in the end I would like to share it on my server's forums. I am not an owner of the server, but I am staff. We do not require people to pay to play on our server.

I plan on giving full attribution and linking back to the original makers of all the texture packs that I use, and listing what parts from which packs I used. I noticed you are copyrighted under Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported (CC BY-NC-ND 3.0).

So I guess I am formally asking your permission to use pecies of your texture pack. I do not plan on making it an official texture pack for our server, or listing it for download any place other than the members section of our forum.

If you do not wish me to do so I fully understand and shall comply.

Cubiclife002 Beta isn't coming I'm afraid. I kind of did far too much work on it and now it's far too close to completion for me to even bother letting people test it.
However I am working on a trailer for it, which is why I don't have time to upload the other files for my other packs just yet.
As soon as the video is completed and rendered I'll start uploading the texture packs, then I'll post Cubiclife here on the minecraft forums.

I hope this is more to your liking than an unfinished beta :wink.gif:

I will, I'll be sure to post on each texture pack they've been updated when I've completed the upload of each one.
Shall take some time though considering the size and my upload speed.

Texture packs don't really break. They simply don't have the new textures added for the game.
If you don't intend on using the new items seeing the new textures added, use the texture pack and you'll be none the wiser.
As an alternative, while the texture pack author is updating his pack, you could simply add the new texture from the default png to the desired area in the texture pack using GIMP or Photoshop. That would serve as a nice placeholder until it's updated.
As it's only an egg this time I'm in no rush. You cannot get these in single player survival. Nor multiplayer survival without spawning or being given some.
Very rare would people actively use these as they're more for map developers. Where their number is small.

Needless to say I am updating the packs one by one. After the video is complete.

well i say break because since the 1.0 update now my stone shows random pictures of fire portals and water on them :/ that counts as breaking imo

i really like the torches but i feel like the orange flame that pulses in the middle of the animated flames seems really out of place, perhaps consider removing that part?

Judging by your amount of posts I'm going to assume you're new.
Mediafire just doesn't work well for texture pack authors anymore.
The workaround required for it is too time consuming.
I'll get around to it eventually.

Funny thing is I noticed that mediafire downloads were being insanely slow lately.

Hey there, thanks for posting.
I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon, if ever.
I work primarily on my KDS Cubiclife texture pack now.
I update my previous packs on each release however. As for updating existing textures... That's not going to happen.
The idea of the ores being gems is a pretty poor idea as it is. As this is aimed at "Realism" (To an extent anyway)... Coal, Iron and Gold are not gems. I might update the Diamond and Lapis textures to look more gem like. Maybe. I won't promise anything though.

Be sure to check out my other packs too. You might find them to your liking too.
Especially my Cubiclife texture pack. It's my best and most detailed work so far!

Updated the texture pack to 1.2.4
Enjoy the new textures in this release guys!
Also added mirror links incase you have problems with one of them!
