sorrry didnt think about it being a mod that would make more sense, so whats this mod for "waviness".
The mod is something like GLSL Shader Mod, but I don't know. And be careful, this is very CPU intensive, so make sure your comp can handle it :tongue.gif:
Just checked out the video... Hrm. Looks good, especially the torches. But uh.. It looks like you might have taken some textures from LB Photo Realism. The crafting table, as well as the Furnace has the exact same texture as that other pack.
Are these just stock items you both managed to find? Or.. I dunno. Curious about the similarity.
Yeah, as I also use LB Photo Realism, I could not help but notice it. :/ I don't really want to make a big deal out of it though, heh... :/
Can you not read the description or is that too hard for you guys?
:sleep.gif: Geez, relax, sorry.
Anyway... How does the animated torch and furnace work? Is it the particles? I am just wondering, if you don't want to tell for some reason, it's fine :tongue.gif: XD
All you need to do is install mcpatcher to your minecraft and the animated textures will look fantastic.
This texture pack also makes use of the Randomobs mod so there are multiple variations of mobs :smile.gif:
If you do not use mcpatcher, it won't look very good at all. No randomobs, animated textures just plain boringness awaits you :wink.gif:
The update is coming soon, just finalising it then resizing it for the other resolutions.
Be patient :smile.gif:
Here's the upcoming changelog for the update (Which as you can see will explain why it's taken a while to come)
Changelog:
New Textures
- Tree Sapling
- Cracking texture
- Nether Brick
- Bow
- Bow Animation
- Fising rod
- Arrow
- Firable arrows
- All Hoes
- All swords
- Diamond
- Flint
- Flint n Steel
- Book
- Egg
- Gunpowder
- Glowstone powder
- Sun
The only mod required for this to work properly is mcpatcher.
So long as you use that you will not run into any difficulties with this pack, mcpatcher enabled hd textures as well as adding Randomobs which this pack utilises and has many variations of mobs. Also with the custom animation textures so you can have water, lava, portals, fire, torches and furnaces :smile.gif:
When it is available for 1.0.0 I recommend you all to use the water shader mod (simple google search shall find it here on the forums) It's the best way to see this mod in it's full glory.
The reason it is taking so long is because... well...
I'll let you see the changelog so you can understand:

O my god, YES!
Amazing man!
Woooooooohooooo!
Btw: Waterworld survival is so hard!
I've tried 5 times to survive the first night,
now trying again with this update!
Awesome man! Keep up the good work!
Thanks :biggrin.gif:
Heh Yeah my survival map is extremely hard.
It'll get easier I assure you.
Just get a farm going and you'll be laughing your way through... Unless a creeper is in the waterfall when you're in the abandoned mines... Then run! :tongue.gif: haha.
They tend to one hit kill you these days.
Very good texture pack! its my favorite one! you actually change everything in minecraft. like some of the other packs i downloaded skipped some of the stuff and it just looked wrong

Thank you for the kind words.
I haven't changed everything yet, I still need to add a sprite for when you score a critical hit on an enemy but I'm unsure as to what to do the texture.
I also need to do a couple more mobs when I find the time.
I hope you continue to enjoy the pack for a long time to come!
I love the update.
Everything looks so good!
You're amazing, man!
Too bad Optifine isn't compatible with your pack anymore... : (
P.S. The water island world is going well!
I have a melon farm, a house and 1 diamond! :smile.gif:
I'll send you send you some pics if you want : )
Keep up the good work man!
Optifine is compatible, but you just won't have animated torches or furnaces. I left the textures in the original slots should people wish to use Optifine instead of mcpatcher. However the lack of Randomobs and animated textures is a downside on their part. That and Optifine is incompatible with lots of hugely popular mods just puts me off it even more.
I'm sure it works well, but I'll pass.
I'm glad you're enjoying the water world challenge, by all means post them onto the forum topic and I'll throw them onto the description when I get the notification! :smile.gif:
wow u answered
Thanx cant wait 2 see what u bring next
Well I quite like the way the wooden pattern is now, so I touched it up some more to something a little more realistic.
Tell me what you think of this:
Ps. Yes the white markings and my name is a watermark. Just incase someone decides to nab it haha.
Awesome texture pack :biggrin.gif: I read the posts and still don't completely understand, how does the animated torch and furnace work? :3 But amazing work!!! :ohmy.gif: -sorry for the annoying post that will probably irritate everyone :dry.gif:

Okay in short, it works exactly the same as the custom textures work, custom_water_flowing, custom_fire_n_e (or whatever), etc, etc...
They just have to be properly named.
You can make an animated texture for ALL the textures in Minecraft, I have big plans for this to animate the redstone torches and others :smile.gif:

The zombie textures make me want to stuff my face in kittens.
Computers scare me.
"I only devoured two men"
Heh the reality makes me cringe :wink.gif:
Hmmm zombies make you want to rub kittens?
Perhaps I didn't make them intimidating enough :wink.gif:
Only a little bit, side by side is a BIG improvement though
Thanks, I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks man :smile.gif: Really appreciated!
lots of very precise work added in to every last pixel, or an intern
Hmmm, I see what you mean.
Sure I can look into changing the wood texture :smile.gif:
Actually I use my many monkey slaves, I pay them in minecraft dirt blocks :biggrin.gif:
