Basically it's a texture pack that makes Minecraftia look like a Wasteland.
It's to compliment the Wasteland mod by Silver Weasel.
So far it's perfect. It's move a lot forward since that one image :tongue.gif:
Perhaps it will be released this week, maybe next. Depending how much work I get done on it.
I am hoping he updates his mod to 1.8 soon though :/
I plan on releasing it as a separate pack. It's quite unrelated to this in a number of ways.
This focuses on the beauty of Minecraft while the other one will focus on the dry wasteland of Minecraft.
Anyway, someone provide some feedback on this :smile.gif:

Crashes can be caused by a number of things.
None of which are caused by texture packs, only ones computer handling them :tongue.gif:
If you're using Windows 7 64bit be sure to install 64bit java (find it via google)
Also be sure you're using mcpatcher on your minecraft.jar
ive tried downloading each of the three resolutions for the pack and none of them work right. is there anything else i need to download along side the pack? and my computer is a mac withOS x 10.6.8, could that be a reason its not working. help plz, not having this texture pack is killing me!!

If a "texture pack" (yes... simple IMAGE files) don't work then clearly it isn't the pictures fault.
It's common knowledge to use mcpatcher.
It's even pinned on the Texture Packs forum....

I use Gimp to make and edit my textures. I just resize them with the Cubic setting on, however if scaling up it's usually better to use the None setting.
Experiment and dont' forget to check the tiles. You don't want overlapping!

All texture packs work for ALL VERSIONS OF MINECRAFT.
It's just a case of whether or not they have textures that include the latest items.

Just checked out the video... Hrm. Looks good, especially the torches. But uh.. It looks like you might have taken some textures from LB Photo Realism. The crafting table, as well as the Furnace has the exact same texture as that other pack.
Are these just stock items you both managed to find? Or.. I dunno. Curious about the similarity.

I find it quite nice that I can run the x256 res version perfectly fine. :smile.gif:
sys specs are 1 6950 1gig card with 8gigs ddr2 800 ram and phenom 2 x64 quad on win 7.
yet with that some other hd tex packs were troublesome.

That spec can run 256 packs no problem, not sure why you're having issues with others.
