This is way too simple. Just having one color and a border as a texture is unoriginal, as it's been done thousands of times before, hence the name "simple pack" Also, just a bucket fill doesn't deserve an adfly.

First, you should read this. It might help.

Simplicity does not reduce lag. I have tested this extensively at resolutions ranging from 16x to 512x and I can tell your for certain that there is no difference between FPS of a simple pack and a complex pack. The file sizes may be different (vastly so at higher resolutions) but because minecraft preloads textures this does not effect in game performance.

As for the pack it's self.
I like the cobble. That at least is different. Everything else I have seen a thousand times before. There is nothing inherently wrong with a simple pack (I made one myself). However, a pack need to be unique in order to catch the viewers eye.

The cobble falls into this category, but everything else does not.
