Does not matter if you are only 13. I'm only 15, does that mean I shouldn't know C already?
I'm a boy, does that mean I can't like rainbows and butterflies?
Excuse me, but I really hate when people use the "I'm only _____" excuse, even if they're good.

woah buddy. slow your go a bit.I myself like the idea of a simpler texture pack. takes off some of the load on your fps. But he was asking for feedback. not a rant about his caution and choice of words.oh by the way good job tristan keep it up! :biggrin.gif:
Few things:
-Your ores don't match up with your stone - don't look the same. It would be fairly obvious that they're there. Maybe a plus, though.
-The border on your furnace isn't a border, the black thing goes over it.
-There's too much contrast between the brick colours - it literally hurts my eyes to look at.
-And, finally, your TNT is a bit dark. Er, weird, I guess. Play around with the look of it.
Yeah that's it. Overall, pretty good job.
Oh, also, I made a simple pack once, and our brick looks almost exactly the same. I guess that's the nature of simple packs, though.

There are no proven correlations between the simplicity of the textures, and how it effects your computer.
They only proven correlations are between resolution size and performance.
To the OP: Please, no more bucketfill packs. In mere seconds you can find hundreds more of these. You know how to use an image-editing program, good job. But please try something actually creative and unique.

Didn't know the placebo effect worked with computers XD
Anyway, if you really want a pack to improve performance, I suggest looking for anything that is below 16x resolution (the most common below that is 8x), and if you want to use those you'll either need to use MCPatcher or install Optifine.

...wrong person clicked on it before it loaded -.-
You don't need art skills. Just find a way of drawing that suits you.
Hell, find a nice pattern and stick to it.
I have no artistic talent either, but I have a TP that manages to be unique and has over 1000 downloads, all because I found something and stuck to it.
Just find something original.

As far as simple packs go this is not the worst I have seen. Some of your interpretations are decent.
I do agree with everyone else though. Don't advertise your age and don't use it or the fact that it is your first pack as an excuse. It is unprofessional and automatically set's negative expectations in the minds of the viewers.

So, you use your age as an excuse for not being really good but then refuse to learn how?
That's not consistent or even smart. Congrats you just lost the respect of the community.

[quote=Badgerz]You have to keep in mind that people are stupid.
[quote=Catelite]Just because you don't understand how something works, doesn't make it broken or pointless. >_<
"Don't judge me! I'm only 13!"
You've made me day. Have a cookie:
(Texture pack looks nice!)

The only thing I can think of is that the diamond ore should look more like it's buried in rock and not just a block.
Other than that, I love it.
