I plan to make a texture pack for myself maybe for public but when I am done editing the textures I will have no idea how to make the .zip file. If you know how please tell me. I am using a Mac
Put it in a folder then right click and compress it.
Don't put it in a folder first. If you do that, then it will make a zip of the folder itself, and the texture pack won't load correctly.
Do what everyone else said.
Highlight all of the files
Right click
Compress it.
Make sure it's a zip and not a zip archive.
