The smoothness adds beauty but keeps the original 1.8 Minecraft lighting.
Simply Smooth Keeps the original Minecraft theme, While keeping the smooth texturing.
This texture pack is my first, And will not be my last.....

Sorry this is my first time posting images on the forums, How do I make them work?
alright, so first upload the images to a photo sharing site such as photobucket. then, view your uploaded images. when looking at your photos, there should be a little box that says [IMG] or some sort. copy the code in that box. simply paste it into your post to add photos.
unfortunately, not a fan. the textures seem too bland. theres no variety, and even though this is a simple pack, the bocks dont have to be all one colour. just some thought. with some more work, this could be greatly improved, but for now, no download.

Thank you for your feedback, So you think grass should be like the default Minecraft grass textures but a smooth version?
I always thought that it looked bad like that if it were smooth.....

not exactly like the original, but some more detail in the grass. instead of having one solid colour as the grass, instead you could maybe throw in some similar colours but of different shade, or maybe something that adds more character. just look around the forums texture pack section, and you'll see a lot of grass, dirt, stone, etc textures that look simplified, but do not consist of just one colour. this pack still has a lot of potential.
Yeah another smooth pack... Im sorry for the attitude but this texture packs have flooded the forums... There all the same and offer no real reason to download. I suggest you change the idea of the pack towards a more unique theme.( just constructive criticism, please take no harm in this comment :biggrin.gif:)

I just wanted to make a variety of texture packs, And I decided to start with this one.

Once I start it will take 2-3 weeks to finish.

I am about 50% done, But maybe I could make a test version of the texture pack and release it.

Thanks for the support, But I actually and making the texture pack like this for a reason.
My next texture pack will probably be either 16X or 128X pixel texture pack, So this texture pack is not showing my true ability.
That'd be really cool lol I'd love to test it out in-game
