Once I get enough money from link clicks (will take a good while) I think I'll use the 3D printing service Shapeways to make a little model showcasing the pack.
This is one of the better textures; very well made. Good job.
Very much I thank you. The reason I decided to use Super Mario World is that it produced clean, slightly-cartoony textures. I'm not a fan of more realistic packs, and this makes the game feel bright and fun.
This texture pack is simply amazing. I can't wait until you finish all the mobs that have yet to be skinned (do you plan to?) my only issue is I almost literally CANT see IRON ORE blocks. I pass them by almost every time in caves, if not for this one issue I'd likely use the texture pack 100% of the time and simply forget about the old way of viewing minecraft. Is there some way I can tweak the visuals in the video settings to make it easier to see the iron ore blocks?

I'll actually tweak that myself, I've always wondered if they looked okay. (I usually have my brightness up high so I don't have difficulty with it.)
Mobs that haven't been skinned probably won't be, as they don't have a close enough match in SMW. I may still make a Yoshi pig if I can make it look okay, especially because you can ride them.
EDIT: updated! The iron specs are darker (and a tiny bit bigger) now, and should be at least somewhat easier to see. I didn't want to break the consistency too much, though.

Awesome!! I can't wait to try it out. And I can see what you mean about your brightness, because when I torch the heck out of an area I can see the iron ore blocks just fine, but if the area isnt extremely lit it becomes very difficult, particuarly since I dont turn the brightness up, I want the dark to be dark, it adds atmosphere to the game for me. That said, I'm not complaining that I cant see the ore in pitch black environments, just not in environments where I can see every other ore except iron, hehheh. No good.
I had an idea for zombies, and actually a few other ideas. But they've all apparently vacated my head at the moment. I'll write them down the next time I think of them and post them here. Again man, this texture pack is epic. Great Job!
Afterthought! I remembered one of my ideas! I have yet to try out potions using your Texture Pack, but if you haven't done anything to them yet, perhaps the ones that grant buffs (noteably the fire resistance one) can make you sparkle like star power!

I'm afraid that would require a mod, which I'm not going to be making for ease-of-use reasons. That would definitely be something for me to consider doing separately as a first mod, though. Thanks for the idea.
No problem with the signature support. This T.P. deserves it!
That said, I started writing down my ideas as I remembered them, and came up with some new ones as well on top of that. I dont want to step on your toes however, this T.P. is incredible the way it is, and I dont want to make you feel as if I'm correcting or criticizing you, so, if you'd like to hear my ideas let me know and I'll spill the beans.
In addition, I have a few questions.
1)What was the inspiration for turning an exploding creature of devastation and woe (creeper?) into yoshi?
2)I noticed you changed the break pattern for blocks. But I fail to see what the new pattern is supposed to be? Is it some shape from the game that I'm not remembering, or simply failing to see? Or is it just changed for the purpose of keeping things interesting?
Edit: Btw the change to the iron ore block was right on point. Its now just as easy to see as any of the other ore blocks. smell that? smells like success!

<--- Finally complete!
Yes! I have time to work tomorrow morning, so I'll have to add some things.
Hm, maybe if it can be subtle. Waluigi isn't in Super Mario World, so I will only if I can keep it looking consistent.
Bookmarked for work! I'll make this priority #2 after updates to 1.1

Hm, I'll consider it. I've already got Yoshi-themed Creepers, but it could look okay.
Might look odd, but I'll definitely look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.
They're already the Gold Block. I can potentially make the chest item-block-esque, just to give it a better feel.

Thanks! As my first texture pack, I'm actually rather proud of all the work I put in.
