Thank you, with that I think you guys have actually covered all of the blocks in the snapshot, now I've just got to do a few items, some editing and work on the shulker, then I should be able to post the updated version.
I've think I've finally finished the rest of the stuff, I'm going to test it a bit to make sure all of the textures look good in game then update the download.
Edit: alright it should be working now, I might change stuff later but for now its all working.
Edit2: I remembered they added yet another thing with the command blocks,
I'm not going to mess with that right now though, I'll try to work on that later.
Edit3: The shield colors aren't working properly, not sure what I did wrong there, I'll try to figure it out though.
Edit4: Everything should be working now, though I haven't had the chance test yet so I'm not completely sure how the shield looks in-game.
Not sure exactly how to go about doing it that way, at the very least you'll probably have to rename almost every file, you should have a look at your .minecraft if you are using windows and you don't know how to find .minecraft just try holding the windows key on your keyboard and pressing the R key, after you do that you should see some thing called run open, just type %appdata% then you should see .minecraft, open it then find versions, then find the latest version open it and extract the .jar file and open it, ignore the .class files and open the assets folder, after that you should be able to see how resource packs are put together by exploring all the the folders within, as for making it downloadable, that isn't a good idea, if someone else made the textures then you would need permission from the original creator, so just keep it as a pack for you and your friends.
oops I forgot I had two separate downloads for each file, the alternate downloads are updated, however the main ones aren't, I'll fix that as quick as I can.
I've noticed that I can't disable the alternate textures option because it is not available anymore, so now I have to figure out more block model stuff to fix how bad the natural blocks look, that will probably take me quite awhile to figure out.
Edit: It isn't going to take quite as long as I thought, I've actually fixed it one time before they added the option to disable it, though unfortunately I deleted the files, but it is going well.
Edit2: it was allot easier to fix than I remember, I'm adding it to the pack now.
Edit3: If there are any other packs that you use that look strange in 1.9 because of the textures being rotated just use this Rotated Texture Fix it should fix the problem.
Since there aren't any more new blocks or items for me to re-texture in the snapshot I might work on some mod support, I'd like to add support for the Twilight Forest mod but I'm not sure I can get that one done anytime soon, so in the mean time if you guys have some suggestions for some mods you'd like to see supported just tell me what they're called and I'll have a look.
I've been doing some minor support for Fossils and Archeology
not sure if I'll fully support that one or not, I like the mod, I did work on it awhile back, but i never got very far, but I would like to take a look at the textures if that's alright.
I'm experiencing a strange inventory bug with this resource pack on 1.8.8. There is an extra solitary square above & center which doesn't do anything, and the white highlights are offset from the 2x2 crafting boxes. This is otherwise my ideal pack, please help!
Sorry about that, I updated the pack for 1.9 which changed the inventory a bit, I should have made another version for 1.8, I'll make an add-on with the 1.8 GUI.
Also, I have tweaked those HD skins I made earlier. Is there anyway I can view HD skins in game without mods?
I fully expect people to edit the pack to their personal preference, that is why there are so many alternate textures and I also expect that people will make their own alternate textures, I'm glad people have personal versions of it.
I haven't found a way for someone to use HD skins without a mod, other than adding it to a resource pack, and then it only shows up for people using the pack when not using a custom skin.
Mighty fine of you Dangeresque, gonna try it out now. Got a link for donations?
No problem, it should work now, if there are still problems just tell me what they are and I'll see what I can do to fix it, as for donations, nope I thought about it awhile back but never got around to it, for now the closest thing is my steam wishlist.
Quick question: What is your policy on resource packs? I have had this pack I have been wanting to post for a while. The base is gerudoku faithful, while some textures were borrowed from Dokucraft and Conquest, along with some I have made. I can give you full credit for every texture used.

I personally wouldn't have a problem with it, however there are many textures from other resource packs in Gerudoku, you would have to track down each person who contributed to the pack and ask them, Tombones used textures from many packs, he used quite allot of textures from Dustyshouri's pack DustyCraft and he no longer allows people to use his textures,
this is what he posted about it.
I no longer allow the free use of any content within this pack, with or without permission. I have allowed the rights to use my graphics in the past but I have since changed my stance on that. If you had once asked for permission and I have allowed it that decision persists, but any further requests(as of March 2012) will be denied.
Edit: You and your friends can keep using the pack, nothing can stop you from doing that,
just don't post it, if you do it will be reported for stolen content.

Thanks, I'd actually completely forgotten that i needed to fix the the GUI stuff, the other stuff should be helpful as well.
I've think I've finally finished the rest of the stuff, I'm going to test it a bit to make sure all of the textures look good in game then update the download.

I tried to add the new villager zombies
but for some reason my computer deleted the files as I was moving them into the pack,
so I'm going to go make those again and add them to the pack.
Edit: The textures should work now.

Just wondering, is the download updated?

My textures are still wip
By the way, the newest snapshot seems to have broken your shield textures

I'll go fix that real quick.
Edit: I made a quick texture that I'll probably change later, but It should work for now.
I made some alt textures if you are interested
Most were made before your versions, but I figured I'd post them

All the textures look great, I won't use all of them but I would like to take a look then slightly edit and use some of them.
Like I said, they are mainly just for ALT textures. I myself have a custom Gerudoku full of alt textures (and maybe a few stolen from dokucraft)
Here is the download for these textures:
