Hey guys ive been wanting to make a texture pack for a while now and i don't know what program to use. I tried GIMP and it was very confusing. Hopefully someone can recommend a nice free photo editing program? Windows also.
That's the link. Very simple to use, and I find works better with making skins than gimp.
PS: The Noise Effect is your friend! Makes things look more realistic/shadowed/shaggy/textured. I usually throw Noise 25, full coverage, no discoloration on things. Makes them blend better and not look as cell-shaded.
