Anyways, AuraCraft Dark has been released! Changed a few textures, mostly made them smoother and got rid of a few odd color bumps. AuraCraft Light hasn't been touched at the moment though, these new features are only in the Dark version.

Think of it this way; AuraCraft was made somewhat like the Powerpuff girls. Inspiration from JoliCraft (sugar), JohnSmith (spice), Dokucraft, SMP Revival & Painterly (everything nice) makes my interpretation of a Powerpuff Girl, i.e. AuraCraft. Chemical X is... well - a secret should we say.
Inspiration eh? Well I'm looking through your textures and you seem to have taken my moon, lily pad, big mushroom, wood, repeater and big brick cobble textures. All without my permission.
Proof: Mine are on the left, 'yours' are on the right.
Chemical X is apparently your ability to play with saturation sliders.

I admit that I did use your plank style on my original plank, and also the lily pad and mushroom textures are yours. I have changed them accordingly to satisfy both of our intentions. I did use SMP's Revival as a base texture pack so I might of miss-interpreted the lily pad being yours. The mushroom on the other hand, I have no excuse for; it was out of pure laziness. We are all human, and I'm sorry.
However I believe the diode and stone brick was something off the PainterlyPack. But If you insist I remove them anyways, I will gladly do so.
Additionally, SMP, the watermelon and furnace texture are from your packThe cobble, ores and sandstone, and stone half block are downscaled from Doku, and the Stone respectively from Aardvark's Textures.The bookshelf is from John Smith's,and the flowers and some saplings are all from Painterly. I'm sorry Leo, but I don't really think near any of the textures are original...
I did use the DokuCraft Sandstone in an earlier version, but I changed that like a week ago? Also the furnace and watermelon are mine. Someone's already mentioned the DokuCraft ores and I've already answered.
The mass popularity of some packs inspire others and sometimes it is hard
to identify textures that look inspired from the stolen ones.
With all of this said, this pack definitely has some potential, it's sad drama
like this that often takes away from the quality of the work, or at least the
original work.
It is your original work that has potential. While laziness is understandable, it
is not tolerated if you're abusing forum rules.

The fact that you didn't even credit him, or put him in the "noteworthy or inspiration textures" section is even worse IMO. You knew you stole textures, and didn't care until you got caught. There's no excuse for that.

I'm pumping out these new better textures, so I can start working on the second flavor. The second variant of AuraCraft will be a darker variant.

Im not usually a fan of 16x packs but this has a great rpg look and feel to it.
I cant wait for the dark version, I love packs with a dark grim feel to them for some reason.

Are you sure that the stone and a few of the ores are just dokucraft scaled down?
which coincidentally is part of this pack.
The stone I can say is not from Doku. I originally shaped a few ores and used the color schemes for the ores for AuraCraft ores from DokuCraft.
I hope to develop these ores to something original just for AuraCraft, so I'm always on the lookout for inspiration :tongue.gif:
