Alright I just realized I never made a thread for this pack I created for Steelfeathers' contest a while back!!! The rules were to create a terrain.png and animations in 6 hours or less. This is what I came up with :smile.gif:

My first texture pack. This is the one I have put the most time and effort into, I recommend checking it out. It is also the ONLY HD pack to offer a choice of wood colors. :smile.gif:
I had started a 512x pack a long time ago and stopped because at the time people had told me it wasn't possible. I am working on that pack again, but I intend to finish work on this pack before I release.
I may, however, make the pack's beta version available to a select few to test it for bugs
I love feedback, and I know it is not 1.9 right now, but I will make sure to update it when I get time.
Feel free to post screenshots/videos of this pack in action, I'll add 'em to this post :smile.gif:

A little noisy on the pixels for my taste, but the ores especially look really great :smile.gif: Well done!

For noise, download the optifine mod and set the mipmapping setting to at least 1. Problem solved :smile.gif:

its the way minecraft renders things. get optifine and set to fancy graphics and that should fix it
