Hey! Do you have an awesome idea for texture pack, but just can't make what you think? If you do you should send me your ideas for the texture pack, and I'll try as hard as I can to making your idea a reality. If you aren't skilled with paint or another image editing software, or don't have one, you should seriously consider this! :biggrin.gif: When I Am done with it, I will post it but not before I send you a download link first. In that post, your name will be written all over the place and I'll give you 100% of the credit, and of course a little to me for making it but the majority will be to you. :smile.gif:

Are you someone that has an idea, and is skilled with paint or other software, but you don't have a good image editing program that you can work with? If you are that person, I highly recommend downloading this program call GIMP. GIMP is an image editing program that is perfect for creating minecraft textures and is easy to work with. Perhaps you could show some examples of your work?

make a texture pack where paintings look like maps.

Well i wouldn't say im professional but I'm Ok. I'm making a texture pack now called Sheercraft. EVERYTHING is sheer based. heres the items gui:
as you can obviosuly see im not finsihed yet

I really want a decent Doctor Who texture pack... If you don't know what Doctor Who is im gonna have a hard time explaining.

how about an upside-down tex. with ores reversed sand is gravel and vice versa include the items to and make the character walk upside down . also turn creepers (if you can) into tnt sticks plz 16X16 (i'll also post it and say you made it) thnx

umm i don't know if i could do all of that. i mean the upside-down stuff or sand being gravel is easy, but the character walkin upside down is next to, if not, impossible. but dont worry i had the same optimism a while ago too .:smile.gif:

no i ment re texture-ize the charachter to make it look like that and plus i ment for it to be optional

Ohhh ok ya its a possibility. But I've got a lot of other texture pack stuff that needs to be done but once it is I'll consider it.

Wood Sword: baseball bat

Wood Shovel: wood shovel

Wood Axe: wood Axe

Wood pickaxe: Wood Pickaxe

Stone Sword=Frying Pan

Iron sword=alluminum baseball bat

Gold Sword= Police baton

Diamond sword= Chainsaw

Wood-Iron axes stay axes

Diamond axe= Battle axe

Shovels stay shovels

wood-Iron Picks stay picks

Diamond pick=Jackhammer

Hoes stay hoes

TNT=box of Holy hand grenades

gunpowder= Holy hand grenades

Mob spawners= wooden crates with red eyes looking out at you

leather armor=Leather jacket (like greasers wear),boots (cowboy style),Bandans (Gangster
Style) Pants (Jeans)

iron armor= bullet proof vest, iron toed boots, Bandana around mouth and neck (Army issued style) pants ( Jeans with knee plates)

Gold armor= Tee shirt (any color, mabey blue), sneakers, baseball cap, Khaki shorts

Diamond armor= Futuristic Chestplate, Futuristic boots, futuristic knee plates (over jeans) Futuristic helmet with visor

Firestarter= Bic Lighter

Bow=revolver (No bow animation please)

arrows=bullets

mossy cobblestone=bone strewn cobblestone

Paintings= Grafiti images

mobs= Zombies (person with brains exposed, emptey eyes.) Creepers (anything that looks good) Skeletons (Police Officer type zombie) Spider (Same) Endermen (A thug type zombie,

so anything that looks good.) Silver fish (same)

ores=same

torches=flashlights

redstone torches= red flashlights

Water= reddish tinted water

moon=red

sun= a bit more orange

chests= a footlocker like in fallout new vegas

cake= pie (any kind)

Dispenser= Turret

pork= brain

Cooked pork= burned brain

bowl=cup/glass

soup= Coke-a-Cola in a cup/glass

Mushrooms= red and brown weeds

Mushroom trees= Tall up red and brown weeds

Grass= reddish tinted

crops= weeds

flowers= red and yellow shriveled up flowers.

ink pounch= squid gut

bricks/brick blocks= Grey, dirty bricks.

Bucket= rusty blood spattered bucket.
