I was thinking the other day that (1)I really loved the movie "Pulp Fiction", and (2) how I wished cigarettes could somehow be implemented into Minecraft. Not wanting to download the cigarette mod, as that's just a little over-board, I decided it would be fun to try and create an item sprite for the fictional brand of cigarettes "Red Apple", from the Quinten Tarantino movie Pulp Fiction. Here's what the finished product looks like, ready for use in your items.png:



It's 64x64. I originally was going to go for a 32x32 version, but it looked sort of odd. For 32x32 item.png images though, simply re-size the entire items.png from 512 pixels to 1024 pixels (this is what I did, as the rest of my item sprites are still 32x32).

Hopefully you guys like this as much as I do! If anyone has any item requests, I will be taking them for a short while. This can go from actual item brands to stuff from movies, but make it a reasonable request please!

Just did another one for bread. It's a generic loaf of wheat bread, wrapped in plastic. The kind you find at super markets and such:

The idea is that you cut & paste the icons over the existing ones; to replace the old image with something new.

What your saying makes sense though. I just figured people would like realistic-looking items and stuff.

Oh, if it's alright may I have a 32x or 64x Huntsman, arrow, and charge animation?

Huntsman sprites are done! I did them as 64x64. It's a little tricky to get it down right since the bow and the arrow is so skinny, but I think it came out alright. Happy Hunting ~

Oh, I sort of feel greedy for asking this, but may I have the arrow texture as well?

You mean the texture on the arrow that gets rendered from firing the bow?

The arrow texture is there, it's right above the empty bow sprite. It looks a little big, but maybe that's just the awkward sizing of it. I made it a little less than 64 pixels in width so it should still work as an arrow texture. Re-size whatever you need to though - my apologies if it's off by a bit. :3
