Hello everyone!
I've finally decided that i want to spend some time making a texture pack! (I've got alot of spare time on my hands this week)
I have some questions first. I want to make a default sized (No patcher needed to make it work) texture pack. I'm not going to use that Painterly Pack customizer.
Questions:
1. How easy is this? (Skills needed to complete a decent pack)
2. Are there any specific programs that allow you to do this?
3. What theme should i go for making one?
Someone please answer, because i want to get to work straight away.

Well, you are going to need a program that can do transparency, some knowledge on when you color in a block, you know what block it is, and about 3-5 hours of work depending on quality. A good program for transparency is paint shop pro x or x2, but if you are looking for a free thing go look it up on youtube. YOU CANNOT USE PAINT unless you want there to be a white space when you use transparent blocks. reply to me if u have any questions.
