Ebo1338's playthrough vids featuring Derelict! His older videos feature such gems as screaming at pigs and being blown up by creepers (naturally). It's quite the ride, I promise Here's one from December 27th:

A review by YouTube user fmBillion:
Abandoned houses. Peeling paint. Rust, grime, eerie sounds from the overgrown, rotting house. Splintered fences and doors hanging half-open. Essentially, the texture pack is meant to evoke a sort of abandoned suburbia/rural area, and can be used for a creepy "alone in the dark," extreme rustic or post-apocalyptic feel.
Welcome to Derelict! Derelict is a full-conversion texture pack--the items, GUI, terrain and beasts (bar Silverfish, Nether creatures and Squid) are all entirely new. All work is my own (bar the lava animation, which was kindly done for me by Grugsy--thanks again!), some re-appropriated & altered from my other pack, Featherlight. Everything in this texture pack is created from stock, copyright- and royalty-free images taken from sxc.hu, the "stock exchange" stock photo site. If you're looking for free images, I definitely recommend them.
This texture pack is a 64x, meaning you will need to follow the instructions above (just beneath the Download link) before it will work. If you have errors like bits of portal and fire in the sides of your blocks, it means you didn't run the HD patcher properly. Be sure to back up any mods you have in advance so that you can reinstall them once you've patched Minecraft.
Do use the art (paintings) included in the pack. You can use them to add real atmosphere to your world: hanging tools, sheet metal, peeling posters, cracked wallpaper, No Trespassing signs, shredded curtains, boarded-up windows and more!
Please feel free to post any criticism, comments or questions! Any additional tweaks or alternate textures added later will be the result of replies to this thread, so post away!
Derelict is compatible with Randommobs.
1.9: Further updates for Minecraft 1.2 Prerelease.
Skins: Cats changed to scruffy strays; Golems added; Villagers wholly remade and zombified villager skins added to zombie skins for Randommobs users. The Stray Dog has been updated to have more realistic, smoother eyes. The sheeps' wool has been improved.
Blocks: The Lamp skin has been added, and is a television; the Glowstone lantern has been immensely improved. Animated Textures Added: The Lamp is a television showing flickering static; the Glowstone is a kerosene lantern that is lit, and the Jack 'o Lantern's lighting now flickers. The Iron Block and Diamond Block textures have been changed into rusted iron blocks and broken televisions, respectively. The Bookshelves are no longer empty, but the books should feel suitably abandoned.
Art & Items: The No Trespassing sign's clipping error has been fixed (paintings). Fire Charges have been modified to look more fiery. Lines over drowning/air supply bubbles have been removed. Boss Health Bar has been added. Missing pixels added back to the Bottle 'o Enchanting. Signs are now easier to read.
1.8 Updated for Minecraft 1.2 Prerelease: jungle trees added, ocelots & tamed cats added. Red tabbies are leopards, black cats are black leopards & the siamese has magically become a tiger! Custom swamp biome color added, so the swamp color should be more realistic. Ferns added in for jungle. Ender Dragon added!
1.7 Updated for Minecraft 1.1: language GUI button & mob eggs added. Some tweaks made (hardcore hearts, for example). Villagers added.
1.6 Randommobs support added; dozens of new skins available for those who have Randommobs enabled. Creepers, cows, dogs/wolves, spiders, zombies, and all farm animals now have plenty of appearances!
1.5 Enchanting UI, floating Enchanting glyphs, Dragon's Egg, Ghast texture, and Nether Crystal textures added. The rear ends of dogs, wolves and pigs should no longer be upside-down! Ender Dragons still to come.
1.5.b Zombie hands fixed; chests should no longer flicker. Iron & wooden swords now have new appearances (crowbar, two by four).
* Mushroom "gills" have been redone and should look better & tile more smoothly.
* Saplings have had their missing pixels restored.
* Several other blocks have had tiling improved.
* Red dye has had floating pixels removed.
* Door knobs & hinges have been tweaked to look less brassy.
* Bookshelves have had their book & bottle removed to tile better.
* Resolution on sun & moon upgraded to 128x
* Furnace GUI: flames & arrow now work correctly
* The minecart has acquired a great deal of rust
* The "cracked wall" painting has been tweaked to look more natural
* Pixels left of the apple have been fixed
* White pixels on wheat should now be gone
* Pine trees' leaves are now a natural color
Version 1.0 Derelict is in its first release. Please report any bugs!
Known Issues / To-Do List
* Nether mobs, Silverfish, Squid.
* Dull down Iron Golem's colors & dirty him up a bit.
* Make the GUI clearer.
Grugsy: He kindly animated the lava for my Featherlight texture pack, which I've reused for Derelict. Thanks!
Sabbo2001 (Minecraft name): Animated my water. Moan.
Everyone who commented and gave advice during the "WIP" process of this pack!
The following stock photo providers at sxc.hu requested that they be given photo credit when their work is used:

All blocks (bar some paintings) were made by me using stock, copyright-free, royalty-free images, provided for such use by users of the website sxc.hu. I have not stolen or "borrowed" from anyone else's texture packs, nor have I google searched for images and used them in my pack. The pack itself is my intellectual property, so please do not reuse it, or place it elsewhere for upload. If you wish to share it, please provide your friends with the link above, both to support me with link-clicks and to allow them to download the most up-to-date version of the pack.
If you want to use some of my textures in another pack, PLEASE message me first. I am not okay with my images being used without permission or credit, as I have worked very hard on each one of them. That said, I will be perfectly happy to help you out if you want to use a few--just message me on the forums with your request, please. Summary: Do not reuse my textures or upload this pack elsewhere. Further legal:

IN OTHER WORDS, reviews, videos and so on are fine, but do NOT upload the pack elsewhere, offer it for download to others, use my textures in other packs without obtaining permission & giving credit, and so on.
You (excuse me) ma'am, are an artist. It is so nice to see people who have worked hard on a pack and haven't made it big yet, when we see so many simplecrafts that people spam onto the forums like it's their job. Thank you.
Thanks Dante, I'll certainly have a look :smile.gif: Those had not yet been updated for Derelict (they're still ported over from Featherlight) but I was having a bit of trouble figuring out what to do with them, as it seems you have to either use sconces (too fancy for this pack, imo) or make them perfectly, boringly straight :laugh.gif:
