FIRST OF ALL: do not mistaken this TP for the jolicraft TP, they are NOT the same thing. I do not take credit for it, and do not want to be mistakened for a copier.
I have been working on this texture pack for about 3 months now. it is compatible with the 1.9 update (mostly) and will be continuously updated based on comments.
also, yes I do notice that many things are still from painterly.
most of the reasons are:
water and lava are a pain in the **** to do
so is ice and wool
cactus doesnt look much different unless you compare
you cant do much with things like glass, brick, and sand so they WILL look the same.
a lot of the newer blocks I drew arent in the screenshots
items look a lot better anyway
even though some of them are still from painterly
but, I promise, it isnt a complete copy. this is only version 1 and will be continuously updated based on community opinions and how I feel about them.

further updates will add more custom textures instead of the borrowed textures that are currently in the pack in the future. suggestions will be appreciated.
So you used 3 months to copy-paste other packs? I have almost fully made a 32x32 pack that looks GOOD in about 5 days. Copy-pasting takes 10 minutes
I didnt copy and paste in 3 months. I edited all the blocks in 3 months. in real time, I probably spent 7 hours. I just look, see what needs fixing, fix it, then do something else. I do little tweeks in short periods, so dont hate :smile.gif:

Only thing i dont like is that the obsidian is a bit to square and the glowstone is not bright enough...other than that AMAZING!
