For those of you wanting to get into the spirit of winter, I'm working on a winter-themed pack that turns all the grass to snow and ices over all the plants.
Unfortunately, due to how shading works, it turns all the swamps this nice shade of lavender.
The winter stuff is nice. Shame about the swamps, though. The swamps find a way to ruin everything as far as I'm aware (they made the water of every hd texture pack I've tried so far green). Honestly, with the way Biomes work now I'm surprised that the shading textures haven't been revised to allow for easy control of things like this, but I'm guessing they just don't want to do it, heh.

The problem is that the overlay for the swamp doesn't exist, so it can't be tweaked. It's just that muddy color and whatever overlay goes under it gets that applied on top. So for a white overlay... it turns out purple. I know Steelfeathers is trying to get attention towards getting it changed into something texture peoples can change on their own.
Winter has come to Minecraft and the world has been coated with frost. But the building still goes on and so new tools have been crafted to cope with this long winter.
Build your fortress with new ice-coated tools! Fight your enemies with icy weapons such as the ice arrows, ice sword, and the fearsome ice warhammer.
Explore a perpetual tundra with ice-coated trees and new flowers, tinseled pumpkins, and the rare ice melon.
Not even your buildings are safe, as the stone, cobblestone, and brick have all been coated with a layer of ice and snow.
Escape to the solace of indoors and try to stay warm with a slew of new candles scattered throughout. Just don't burn your house down.
Every update to this impresses me more and more! I was wondering though, when the GLSL Shaders mod gets updated are you going to add support for that? Either way, keep up the incredible work!

It's a pretty neat mod but I'm not sure how difficult it is to make texture packs work with it.
The stock shaders should work fine with textures but I have my doubts that creating new content for it would be trivial, heh.
Anyways, nice to see all the winter stuff's already in the customizer and ready to go. I'll start playing with it once I'm finished with some schoolwork, heh.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't sure if something special had to be done for texture packs, if nothing special does need to be done then yay! If it does then forget that mod, this pack is too awesome!
I still need to get Xie's textures done anyway before I start playing with other mods. I'm cringing a bit that the poll puts MoCreatures so high on the 'want' list. I'm not very fond of doing creature textures.

I do indeed. It's Lady_Seanchain, but I don't update very often, mostly because trying to get my friends to migrate to Twitter would require more than just a crowbar. You're free to follow it though.

Curse PremiumI'm not familiar with that mod - what's it do?
