I'm new and need help with texture pack making. I'm not sure what it'll be called, or what it'll look like, and frankly I'm not sure if it'll ever be complete. I just need help on how to make one, like 'Here's the link to a website on how to make one' or 'You download this picture and edit it, then download this and put the picture in here' (<- links included in that type of reply, please)

Has plenty of resources to help you get started. I recommend using Photoshop, Gimp, or Paint.net to do your modifications, as they boast the most power.
