This only looks like you went into Johnsmith texturepack got the gold from the gold ore, pasted it into some blocks, and outlines some other ones in gold. How is that boring? Doesn't take alot of skill at all.

People ARE trying to help you. First off, you need to use the HD Patcher, because there are graphical bugs everywhere for any HD textures without it. Secondly, the pack is awful. Texture packs are not made in a day. For the most successful packs single textures might be made in a day. Texture packs need effort put into them, not just scribbles in MS Paint (or whatever program you used).
And yes, they need a LOT of effort to be any good... although some have more talent than others. I dunno how much work Doku did on his, but I'll bet he has a lot of talent to back it up.

At least put some effort into your pack. Do that, and actually spend some time on textures, and I can guarantee it won't be boring.
It's only boring if you don't take the time to actually make an effort.
