I just emailed the pack creator. Hopefully we can get a response for permission of a community update, of if we are really lucky it might spark some interest in MC for him and get him to update it himself.
You guys are making it hard for me to forget about Minecraft.
Tell you guys what. I'm going to take a gander at what exactly needs updating and assess what to do. Half of me does want to continue to support this pack because all you guys want it. The other half want to focus on my other art. Though to be honest, I haven't been focusing on any kind of art lately, because both halves suffer from chronic laziness.
I'm gonna see what I can do. I know one user PMed me saying he couldn't wait and updated the pack himself. I'll see what he's got and if I like it I'll probably approve it as an update, or tweak it with credit to him. I know one thing though, I want to make sure the final product fits well with the rest of the pack. There were some specific methods I used to make the pack (colored shading/lighting, unique patterns, etc.) and I want to make sure that shows through, even if I'm not the sole maker of the pack anymore.
We'll see how things go from here, but rest assured, one way or the other, this pack will be updated eventually. :wink.gif:

I'll take a look at the textures as well. For most of you that don't know I am McKnackus' older brother. I'm rusty on pixel art but I'll take a whack at it. Perhaps I will do the items and such.
Don't count on mobs though, I think they look fine and don't need changing.
Original mobs are just fine.

McKnack Pack is one of the only texture packs that doesn't look overly cartooney or have some other ugly glowstone, ores, or blocks which then I refuse to use the entire texture pack.

McKnack said I could release my terrain.png that I updated for this. This is not an official update. I updated this using the current textures, recoloring, and my own photoshop skills. Hope you like this unofficial update.
