Now I want Notch to impliment a golf club and golf ball physics... THAT'D BE FREAKKIN' AMAZING! :biggrin.gif: Someone better make a mod or something. =p
Download the zip file which is linked in the first post. On your computer, search ".minecraft"
and you will find your minecraft folder. There will be a "texture packs" folder there. Put the zip file in the "texture packs" folder and run minecraft, then go to "texture packs" in the opening screen and click "The McKnack Pack".
I think I like this pack, but I'd like it even more if the glass was transparent without the little glare mark thingies. Nice pack though! It's been awhile since I've seen something like this.

Why thank you! :biggrin.gif:
I thought about doing that, but then it had this weird "invisible wall" effect that would just confuse people. The pieces of glare were necessary so it didn't look like a gap with no substance. That said, I agree that the glass should be mostly clear, which is why I made sure to put the glare away from the middle, so you can see out the window easier. It's a necessary evil. :tongue.gif:
Thanks! and that's a shame. :sad.gif: I'll eventually get to the 1.9 textures, but likely on my own time and probably sometime around the official release, unless I just feel like making textures randomly.
I really like this texture pack, especially the wood, grass and water :wink.gif:
Good job. Because I like it so much, I decided to make a texture pack showcase of it.
I'm a youtube partner with 1500+ Subscribers, so this may give you pack some more attention.
Anyhow, I hope you like it :wink.gif:.
Here it is:
Whoa man! Thanks a ton! :biggrin.gif: I was hoping it'd get some reviews, cus I really want this pack to get out there. While I may not continue it beyond the usual updates in the textures, I think it's sufficiently unique enough to offer something different that a number of people could find useful. :biggrin.gif:
It's definitely 16x. Is it the water that doesn't work? You need to use the MC patcher. :wink.gif:
Yeah, if it's the water or lava not working, you have to install MCpatcher. If the texture simply isn't working, you're probably installing it wrong. Be sure you're putting the zip file directly into the ".minecraft/texture packs" folder.
No, it's not 16x, fake and gay!
I seriously can't believe this is a 16x pack. From the screenshots I instinctively thought 64x, not 32x, 64x. Still can't get over how HD the textures look, this whole post may be devoted to me awing at the detail.
The grass made me smile, I've never seen it before in minecraft and it looks rather nice with everything being square and all. Sand really took me, and the style of the wood matches that of the grass almost perfectly. I'm also a fan of dirt with bubble-type-things in it, so naturally I love that too.
Please update to 1.0.0 and everyone on this forum will love you long time.

Thanks! :biggrin.gif: No plans to make weapons or armor though, sorry.

Thanks! :biggrin.gif: I'm glad I made the water and lava now. The default textures really didn't fit the pack at all. :tongue.gif:

Probably sometime near or after it's officially released (or when 1.10 is released, if 1.9 never gets an official release.)
Your pack is so beatiful!
