Not that big a fan of large leaves myself. I already made them larger and more defined than the default. I also like the contrast so yeah. :tongue.gif:
Also, I'm not sure what other things I could do with the mob spawner. It's supposed to be a cage, so there's not exactly a lot of to work with IMO. :tongue.gif:
I decided that it'd be best to change the glowstone to better fit the Nether. I updated the link and the terrain image. Here's the new light block, made to look fitting in the nether, and more true to the default pack.
I love it. Try and change the glowstone and glass or make a customizer though please.
Already changed the glowstone, look at the post above you. :tongue.gif: As for the glass, what would you prefer? Don't count on my changing it though, cus as I said in a previous post, it's made to be as transparent as possible without being invisible.
Also, what do you mean by "make a customizer"? Wouldn't that just be any ol' photo editing software?
Dude, I tried it out and I was just like: "Wow, this is freakin' amazing!"
I hope you continue this pack! I don't know if you're planning on editing the items, but I like the items the way they are, so I hope it will be optional?
Yeah, I don't think I'll be making items or mob textures. Like I said, it's a miracle I managed to finish these textures alone. :tongue.gif:
Properly formatted the title, and changed the tag.
Funny thing, while making it, I wanted it to be vibrant, but I wasn't trying to make it "cartoony" per se. However, now that it's done (presumably), I'm pretty sure it fits as a toon pack, but considerably more detailed than your average toon pack, and more faithful to the default's intentions as well. :smile.gif:
Wow, really nice stuff! Incredible color choice, soft textures with just the right amount of contrast between both the colors in each texture and between eachother. :biggrin.gif: Looks great, well done! Keep up the great work!

Haha, yeah. People on this board are insanely active, so my thread usually ends up on Page 2 in hours. Thankfully, I'm still getting comments somehow. Probably from my sig. :tongue.gif:
Thanks man! It's interesting to me that there aren't too many toon packs that delve a bit into simplicity. And while this is perfectly fine when going for minimalism, the idea behind this pack wasn't even to make it a toon pack, but to make default-like-textures look unique and vibrant, without straying too far from it. :smile.gif:

Whoa, thanks a ton! :biggrin.gif: I'm the kinda guy that really loves color and it's many uses in art. I'm a cartoon artist myself, and coloring is one of my favorite parts of it. That includes colored lighting and shading, because it makes colors more dynamic and complex. I applied this same technique to my texture pack. Now, I'm not going to claim I'm some master of color theory or anything. I'm just a guy who likes to screw around with it to see what it can do. :tongue.gif:
I know the point of this is to be a more vibrant, cartoony variant of the default texture, but it'd be sweet to see some new water and lava for those who do use the patcher.

I considered it. I might do it, but I might not use it. I don't really want to have to use MCPatcher myself so I didn't accomodate it in my pack, but I suppose it's nice to have that option. We'll see I suppose.

Well thanks a lot! :biggrin.gif:

Wow really? Thanks! :biggrin.gif:

Thanks man! Gotta say, the default pack has always left me wanting for some color. Hence why I made this a vibrant texture pack. :wink.gif:
