[16x16][1.8-1.9] RANZOCRAFT [FUN]

That's the best you are getting until i come up with a fancy title
People are getting picky so here is the updated first post.

Basically this is a texture pack that makes simple textures for all the items and blocks, will get rid of potions(in the future as part of a mod that this will be a key part of) and also changes the look of armour. There are many other features we intend to have later on as a part of the joint mod/ texture. But for now here's the texture pack. It is only about 10% done with few things in the terrain.png changed, armour all changed except chain mail and also a bunch of the items. With help from my friend Sqiddster, all of the terrain textures, such as dirt, sand, snow and stone have been changed. Pictures at the bottom.

It says not trolling simple texture packs.

I would post the picture here on the topic, a lot of people wont go to another link for the pictures.

Please note that this texture pack changes a lot more than most other simple packs i have seen and will eventually have a mod to work with it.

It doesn't matter a whole lot how much it "changes." There are sooo many simple packs that you could say there's a practically infinite variety of textures for them (ignoring the fact that they're all essentially the same). Between every update you make, 2 more simple packs will be created (at least).
Please, PLEASE try to find a different genre. The fact that there are so many simple packs might make it seem like they're popular, but it's not true. The really popular ones are the original ones.
I know you can come up with something more interesting than a simple pack. Do it for the good of humanity.

I think these textures are very 8-bitish but yeah... you might want to take the word simple out of your pack.

ok well this is mainly a first go at a texture pack. I normally do skins so this is just a test run. I may create a more interesting pack later on based on this one though that will also be able to be used with the mod. How do you know which resolution the pack is? because i only say 16x because that's what it said when i uploaded it to planet minecraft.

Not an excuse. Seriously, you could have at least done patterns. I know so many amazing packs (or at least I did, haven't been here for a while) that were people's first.

The Pack is nowhere near finished, my friend is helping me out now and is changing a lot of the terrain textures to have a pattern on them or design. Meanwhile i'm focusing on changing the gui, items and other things like that.

did you think to edit the most important terrain such as dirt grass stone etc

That is what my friend is working on now, as it says on planet minecraft and in this forum, it is only 10% complete.

As I said to the last 5 or so people, a more detailed pack may be done after me and my friend have finished this one.

OK there is a poll at the top of this page asking about what the new name should be, if you are intrested then please feel free to make your suggestions or vote for one of the two names.

There are two friends who dont have accounts here that have voted for Ranzo Craft so its currently on 4, at the end of this week ill go with whatever is most popular,

2) Me and my friend are putting as much spare time as possible into doing this texture pack and it has taken us much time to get it to where it is now. We are, in fact, both using Photoshop and are putting more detail into it than you might think. So yes that does mean we are putting effort into this.
3) As I have said a dozen times it is nowhere near finished.
4) Part of the idea of this pack is that some of the blocks are similar but not all of them are.

Finally if one more person posts a hate message im going to report every last person on this thread who posted a hate message. So fo crying out loud accept this pack for what it is and if you don't like it then don't post and don't get it. Is it that difficult?
