No probs! I'll post your review as soon as i update the download link!
Planning on a 35x35 pack, might do a remake of Hekko.... (Thats another pack. Its just rejects.) Also i finally got around to making those pics. I'll post them in a minute BECAUSE IMJUR IS BEING STUBBORN.
Let me begin by saying that I am glad that a new person has entered the wonderful world of pixel art! Neilcraft exhibits an array of textures, that are difficult to review as a whole.
To begin, many things, like logs, stone, cobble, and the new custom font look very nice. They really look like a significant amount of work was put into them. Other things, not so much.
Most specifically is grass. The top of grass is very plain, and does not deviate at all from the all-to-typical mowed lawns from simple single color packs. Side grass and dirt also look like the noise was used forcefully and in small areas, as well as the grass/dirt border being far too flat. Leaves are, atrocious. Two colors make these up, with no noise or transparency.
If you wish to make this pack better, I suggest downloading paint.NET and exploring some if its 'Effects' functions, and make the bad parts of this pack as beautiful as the good parts.

Thanks. And at least i have an excuse for how horrible dirt looks. When i first started this pack i used gimp. (I still do) and i was just getting into it so i used the paintbrush a lot.. I'll try and change it a little. -Neil
Some things dont tile well, textures are very flat, and things are too saturated.
Here is a comparison of your texture pack and good morning craft (IMO the best texture pack ever)
Wich one do you honestly think is better?
Not trying to make you feel bad, but you should keep practicing.
Yes, yes all true. But again, this was my first pack. My main goal was to make mine craft less detailed and lighter, my eyes get irritated sometimes... But now i also want it to be smooth. I will change things in the future, don't get me wrong. But thanks. -Neil
This texture pack is good, but you should try to get the block textures to tesselate better. For example, the stone textures look like tiles on a wall, and the outline of the block can be seen easily. Some artists sometimes go for this, but on your case for a smooth texture pack i dont think this works out. but great job on the ores!

Well thanks! All the help and feedback i can get is appreciated. As of right now i'm working on mobs. I'm trying to get tiling issues fixed, and randomobs to work. -Neil
I'll try and do some! I might even add support for radomobs :biggrin.gif:
