Due to the new texture pack format in 1.5, most of my time spent on SimpleMedieval is being devoted to that, and therefore I will be releasing no further updates to SimpleMedieval 2. However SM3 is coming soon, and here's a brief overview of what it is.
SM3 is a brand new texture pack. It's taking over from the three variants of SimpleMedieval and merging them down into one pack. Furthermore, it isn't called SimpleMedieval 3, but just SM3. Why? Because the balanced pack is not going to be the basis of SM3. The simple pack is my new focus and that's what SM3 is going to be.
I may begin a detailed variant of SM3 later, but at this point I'm just working on the simple one.
Question, Is the Grass aqua or is that snowy grass?
Either way it's damn good!
Thanks for your support! The grass has a blue/aqua tinge when in Extreme Hills/Taiga/Tundra biomes. The pack uses very strong biome colours. If you look at one of the screenshots in the forest biome, it's back to green. Thanks again!
The pack has been updated! Full changelist below and lots of new screenshots in the preview section. Hope you all like the new stuff!

Thanks to a French website, I discovered your texture pack and I love it. You would consider to make a version for those who play Feed the Beast?
I'm trying to stop this sort of linking, so please do not use any download links they provide, only download the pack from this forum in the future. That said, I'm glad you discovered my pack and hope you enjoy it!
As for Feed the Beast, I'm still working on finishing the default textures for now, so maybe when I've finished that, I will consider a Feed the Beast version.
Thanks for the great support everyone, I'm definitely updating SM3 again soon, so keep the comments coming in the meantime with anything you'd like me to add to the pack! I'm up for suggestions.
I'd love to hear what you think! Leave a comment below.

Also: for those who have bad computers like myself, it's very nice cause it boosts the FPS, so another good thing
