More pictures are definitely coming. I just need to find a nice way to organise them in the OP with the three variants and such.

As for missing textures, that would be a little hard to list (there's lots!) but I can say for now that most basic textures in the terrain.png are done.

Also a general note to everyone, since I had a break in maintaining this pack, if you find any textures in the balanced version that aren't up to date with 1.2.4/1.2.5, let me know. I'm also working on the GUI next, so that should be fun!

Alright, a bit of a status update! This pack is not dead. I am still working on it, and I'm almost ready to release a brand new 2.0 version of the balanced pack. I will maintain both the 1.x and 2.x versions for a while, and will then phase out the 1.x series. I may include the 1.x textures as alternates in a customiser of sorts, we'll see

As for 1.3 support - As is usual with this pack I will support it when it's officially out, so I know what I need to add and can release one big stable update.

I've also added a load of new screenshots in the Media section of the OP.

Enjoy the pack in the meantime, everyone!

SM2 now supports 1.3! I've also added some 1.4 prerelease stuff that I'll continue to work on until it's released.

I've got a bit more time to work on things lately, so updates on SimpleMedieval should be out a lot more frequently!

Added the first bits of art, which are mostly from my old pack, Snow's Craft. I'll be adding more in the future to replace the defaults soon though!

Also, there are lots more screenshots in the OP, including some using this awesome test track map!

If anyone wants to know, I've added the represent feature to the OP. That means that if you have a minecraft username on your forum account, and you upvote the post, your minecraft avatar will appear below it!

There are now (finally :P) three variants of SimpleMedieval to choose from, all of which are updated to SM2 style! The simple variant is a more minimalistic take on SimpleMedieval, while still keeping some elements similar to the balanced version. Detailed aims to make a slightly more realistic (although that isn't what it's meant to be) version of the balanced pack, by doubling the resolution to 32x32.

I hope you enjoy these two new variants, screenshots are on the way soon!

1.4.2 support is in the works. Should be an update in the coming weeks (probably next week).

As I already said on ZU, the Simple version is the best "Simple" pack I've seen. Not sure how I feel about the other two versions TBH, but the simple version is really nice. Next time I feel like a simple pack, as long as it's updated my then, I'll use this one.
