Huh. I was wondering why the thread was messed up. :S
Indeed. Now as well as updating my whole pack, I need to re-write the OP... how fun...
EDIT: Thankfully, a friend of mine linked me to an HTML to BBC code converter, which has saved a bunch of time in fixing up the OP. Now it's mainly re-linking, tidying up and re-posting images.
oooh this is gonna take a looong time to update, but even though I will have patience, of which is strange considering minecraft is the greatest, fastest growing system I've ever seen that has the potential of their community to peruse desperately at trying to mod and update it only to be overtaken by the mass of updates that overwhelms the massive community. heh funny right :P?

Haha, yes with so many and such frequent updates to Minecraft, it's a little intimidating to make such a large update. However I'm determined to make it happen, so I thank you for the patience to see it through!
I really love the look of this pack, I wish you all the luck in updating it appleslinky. The quartz, dispenser, and dropper look great by the way!
Thank you kindly friend! I'll need it. I'm probably going to redesign the quartz ore as I feel it's a bit too liquid-like as of now. I'm also planning on completing mob textures and re-designing a bunch of blocks and items, such as this redstone ore:

Nice redstone! Looks like blood seeped into the stone.
Don't worry about rushing yourself. This is a great pack! I'm happy to wait for it.

That's exactly what I was going for! My redstone was like this before, but a lot more cramped, vibrant and didn't tile well at all. Looked more like silly string. This is much better in my opinion.
Thank you kindly for the kind words and your patience!
I've always loved this pack. You do such good work.
I think there are lots of very poor 64x and larger packs out there. Authors don't take advantage of the pixels that are available. So many other HD packs are a waste of video memory. I can't understand the obsession that 'bigger is better' on these forums. Why would anybody want a 64x textures that look identical to default textures? If they were done really, really well, than that's different and I applaud
In my opinion there are way too many happy, colorful, cheerful, obnoxious packs that look like rip-offs of each other.
You created something original and did an excellent job. I would give you a diamond but I can't find the button

Thank you so much for the kind words, I truly appreciate them. And I definitely agree about that cheery part: I found a disturbing lack of good horror packs when I made this...
Also, for MCF, instead of diamonds you give rep, which can be found by the little green arrow in the bottom left of the OP
So my main desktop which I do most image editing on and where all my Minecraft files are is basically just flipping out like crazy and I have no idea why. Finally, after about a month of trying to find the problem with no luck, I've sent it into a computer shop, MSY, to see if they can find what's wrong with it.
This is going to put a mild delay into progress, though I should get it back soon, the guy said he'd give me a call on Monday. Let's hope for the best!
Still no word back for my computer... though have this image of my redstone block WIP that I made before I sent it off. Going to change the redstone dust to veins!
I'm glad to see a reconstruction and update phase is in place on this amazing texture pack. I used it for a while till it became severely out of date then went on a frantic search of the updates only to be shot down until now I'm more than confident that this update will transition this pack into an even more hellacious pack filled with the desolation we all long for in our "ever too happy" worlds. Now I'll be able to focus on the fighting aspect of the game not the happy go lucky search for diamonds.
unfortunately no-one will ever take the initiative to devote time to something horror theme'd again, the real last one to do that was the guy who made the silent hill pack and that's not coming back. but to say the least, appleslinky had the greatest horror pack ive ever seen...

Hopefully this shouldn't take too long now!

Good to see you still around! Thanks for the positive words :3
I have some quartz ore and a fixed daylight detector (turns out it's only half a texture big), thoughts?
EDIT:
Dropper and bloody-fied dispenser!

Also, completed some hay bales!
That's definitely the aim! Thanks :3
