Happiness and Joy is a somewhat simple texture pack that makes minecraft slightly more happy. This Texture Pack is nearly complete, I will finish it when 1.9 is fully released. There are a few items and gui's that are from other texture packs, but they are used fully with permission.
You can edit this pack to your liking, but if you upload my pack with your edits or any textures from my pack, it will be removed, unless you have my permission.
I actually really like the look of it, one thing I see but it could just be the shading in the pic(its kinda dark) is that the coal doesn't seem to have any shading between dark black and the grey stone surrounding like the others ore have. Maybe it is how you intended it. I just feel like it stood out a bit more than the rest.
I can't wait to see how this turns out. I might be switching from my beloved Jolicraft, what has the world come to?

I do, I love the ores. I think they look great. I however think that there is a bit of a lack of uniformity within the pack. I have never made a Texture pack so I don't really know as much about them as the people who have made numerous wonderful ones but to me the ores look almost pastel like. Where as the melon, flowers, cactus, and bookshelf are almost neon bright. I am not a fan of the contrast but I will still be downloading, if nothing else to edit those ores into my current textures(Because I love them :biggrin.gif: )
Also I think that if you are going to go with a pinkish redstone in the ore and rails you should continue with it on the torches/repeaters.
Oh and birch bark and bricks don't seem to tile correctly.
Hope you keep it up, can't wait to see what this is like when finished.
*I really hate trying to give constructive criticism because I always feel like I am being rude but I don't mean to :unsure.gif:

Wow, thanks! And no, it's not mean, It's... nice... sometimes!
Oh look, see what happens when its not a simple pack?
Its great so far, but note the redstone and the likes; its like a giant ball, lol.
Most of the blocks are very flat, and you rails are light and weird.
The lighted pumpkin makes no sense at all, and the ladders are weird too, lol.
For the pistons, there needs to be more definition that the wood is not part of the stone. THey currently like they are fused together which is a bit odd.

Retired StaffDon't discourage yourself about being slow... It's quality that matters, not content!
