Introducing... TileCraft!
Are you getting tired of having to use a crummy simple texture pack? How would you like to make your Minecraft look like an expertly-crafted mosaic? Well now you can!
This pack improves upon the formula of your "typical" simple texture pack by trading plain black borders for shaded tile-like borders. Metals and gems also get an added bit of gloss, to make 'em really stand out from the crowd
This texture pack will feature similarly tile-ified textures for all mobs as well as a modified GUI and items. It has new water and lava textures if you install the MCPatcher HD Fix.
As of this writing, the texture pack is far from finished. Most of the new GUI and items have yet to be completed, as do a lot of the mobs.

I actually was inspired quite a bit by Disco's oCd pack. Clean visuals, like what comes from a good simple pack, really seem to enhance the game, IMO.
Don't mean to contradict the OP, that was just for the clicks :tongue.gif:

Also, thanks for your input on the dirt. At the moment, it seems to work, but maybe spicing it up a bit is something I may look in to in the future.
Until you make your final decision on the dirt I have modified your pack with my own dirt.
I made a custom breaking animation because this texture pack is just too cool!

- Ores are just copy and paste, perhaps move the colored square around the grid a bit so each is different.
