NEScraft is a little experiment I've been working on for two days. Put simply, it takes the original Minecraft textures, and recreates them using only the 54* color palette of the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Although the whole thing is pretty hit or miss, I figure I should at least share in the event that anybody out there feels like playing Minecraft with a billion times less color variety.
Features! -54 colors (in most objects)!
-Old-school style item names (eight letters max)!
-A classic font!
(PS: I know a lot of people usually have a big legal eula thing tacked onto these things, but to be totally honest, I don't mind if anyone wants to improve on/alter/reuse anything. Just don't claim you did all the work yourself.)
*Yes, it's technically a 64-color palette, but there are two whites and ten blacks. Go figure.
The good NES games..
This just looks like a kid has had fun in paint.
Just saying my opinion. My opinion is that this looks nothing like a any GOOD NES game.

Wrong..It had 256 different colors.
On topic: The NES graphics were so much better. I could have made this garbage pack in 2-3 hours...

Really? Good to know. Also, this does look like nes graphics, but a bit worse.
Edit:
Maybe your thinking of the SNES?
What?
This is not even close to NES looking graphics.
This just looks like a really bad colored simple pack.

What games are you comparing this to?

Look's like you only used like 2 per texture.
