Awesome, thanks. I'm going start work on a temporary forum, that way I can get this thing up and running.
The hardest part is getting people interested in helping others with the idea that at the same time you benefit from that help. Basically people can be a lil lazy and anti-social lol. But I think if we can get passed that, there is a good chance this could help a lot of people get noticed. I already have a game developer on board so we'll see what the future brings eh?
I used to make some games using Unreal engine... Then it downgraded into UDK and i gave it up. Silly rules, they killed over 5/6ths of the engine's content

For those who were confused why the pack came up bugged in the texture pack folder it was a tiny error on my part. I Zipped it using my Mac (I was away from my pc) and it zipped "texturepack"(folder) + "Mac O S X"(folder) which confused it. Re-uploaded it and re-zipped it but no updates to the pack. Just a compatibility issue.
So basically what will happen is we will have a forum, In this forum an area to submit your projects and and area to request help advertising. The entire process being community based, no corporate sponsors. Just other developers helping other developers get the word out about their project. Once you find someone who has a complementary niche audience that you think would enjoy your project and further its notoriety. You simply coordinate with that person, and come to some agreement as to what you could offer to do in return for featuring your project on their post, website, image, ect. Most likely by just doing what ever the other person did for you.
For example, if I choose to help you by putting a link and image of your pack in the post with my Forrestcraft pack you would subsequently get exposure you other wise wouldn't be able to reach. And so in turn you would link my texture pack with an image in your post for this texture pack. And in this way we can slowly create a large web of converging links that benefits all the users.

UPDATE!
+Made some wooden blocks brighter
+Endstone --> Bloody Darkstone
+Fixed Leaves bug on fast graphis
+Touched up some textures (dark wood texture, for example)
+changed Mossy cobble
+New Stone bricks (cracked, normal and vine covered)
+ (I did some more but, not much, mostly touch ups and fixes)

+ Fixed up some items
+ Changed the brewing stand (thanks to Lucario for the texture for that)
- Removed Phoenix sun
+ Added supernova sun (or just a shiny one, depends on your imagination)
+ Added moon glow (red)
+ Added new pumpkin blur
+ New redstone dust texture
+ New clay ball texture
+ Threw in a joke skin for pigmen(they aren't used anyways, so i did it to be funny. Now they're 20% cooler!)

Anyhow since it's a BRAND new texture, Ima let it stay default for... a few days or so maybe? Just enough time to get a good idea in my head.
How do u make the textures for mods? like there is the normal texture pack, then someone has a Mod and u want to give it a texture with a texture pack?

Yeah, I have a lot of stuff coming up in school, so I'll just release what I have for it now. I didn't have time for pix of the mod support, but I'll gladly copy + Paste user pix into the main post.
