Ok my problem is whenever i try to make the side of a grass block it stays at the default side, the part with the dirt changes, but the actual grass doesn't-here is a picture-
This happends because you havent changed the black/white grass shape in the terrain.png. Try taking the opacity up to 100%(makes it invisible).
After that, you go to the folder that says misc or something. Do the same to the foliagecolor and grasscolor.
