[font="Franklin Gothic Medium"][font="Book Antiqua"][font="Arial"] Hey, welcome to the not so simple, edited and updated daily ROTMiG texture pack created by me with references to a brilliant game. Cookies for those who recognize it, it's Realm of the Mad God. Some people like it, some don't but I was inspired by it's 8 bit awesomeness. I've been looking at attempting a texture pack for a while, so I thought I'd do a simple one based on this game! Warning, it is WIP and I've only just roughly finished the terrain.png

DERP! Forgot to put in download link... anyway guys you have to download my pack through Planet of Minecraft which is here- http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/rotmig-craft/
Google 'Shaddora Pack' if you don't want to use my link. Just don't get mixed up with my other pack, 'Shaddora Pack 8x Realism'!
Now for screenshots. If they work.
30/9; done the custom water and lava animations! Hooray!
Still got work to do, have to fix up the brick vertical tiling so if you have any tips..? EDIT: Done!
The terrain.png. I still have to do the breaking animation and fix a few things.
If you guys like the concept, could you please comment and give me some suggestions to complete it? I'm using ROTMG wikipages for armour, weapons etc which luckily are also 8 bit- kinda. I also have started the custom flowing water, which has the exact same patterns as ROTMG's tiles itself. Also, do you think I should continue to use Minecraft's title logo or change it to Realm of the Mad God?
Figured out how to tile bricks awesomely! Done some gui work such as inventory, furnace, dispenser, chest etc. Check it out below! Converted terrain.png to version 1.8 and done melons, iron grates, vines, melon seeds, the new mossy brick, cracked cobble brick and more. Custom animated water and lava completed! Armour/ Weapons/ Tools in items.png completed Almost done is the terrain.png Started the custom flowing water, I'll get back to it soon.
Version history
30/9; V. 1.2. Implemented custom animated water and lava.
1/10; V. 1.3. Started getting the pack ready for 1.9, including terrain.png

Ok I don't really understand what you did here, did you copy another pack or are you just posting someone else's textures or... I don't know. Either way, this is the kind of simple pack that We should see more of, because it isn't not entirely solid colors. It at least has a pattern to it.
No, never played Oblivion. This pack is in no way made to resemble Oblivion in the slightest.
Shouldn't it be darker? Never thought of Cyric as the bright and shiny type...
Never heard of 'Cyric'. I have clearly posted this texture pack is based on the online shooter 'Realm of the Mad God'. I suggest you look it up XD
And to Omega, to clear it up, I have drawn all the terrain.png by hand, pixel by pixel. I used images of ROTMG I took ingame to help me. They are based to look like the game, and are meant to look like ROTMG in Minecraft. Because ROTMG only has bricks, dirt, sand, water etc, no workbenches or whatever, I have had to come up with my own textures. So some of my texture pack are completely my own. I hope that helps you! The wavy pattern is stressed a lot in ROTMG also, so I thought that would really make you think, 'Wow it's ROTMG!'. Seems not...
Ahh ok, well in that case I'll read up on changing biome colours, and attempt it! Thanks for the advice and I hope my texture pack stays promising :smile.gif:

Curse PremiumI know it's referencing another game...but I'm old...

Curse PremiumOh ok, I'll try :smile.gif:
Does anyone know how I can get the brick patterns to tile vertically properly? EDIT: Nevermind!
