I've been using my own custom kz.png (in my 64x64 pack) for several versions now, containing artworks that I particularly like. Until 1.8 it has worked fine.
Now, I'm noticing that the larger paintings (such as the 3x4 and 4x4 paintings in particular) don't seem to be working - yet, the smaller pictures work fine. I compared the file to the default (for a 64x) and it has the same resolution and bit depth. Of course I renamed the file to "kz.png" for use in the pack.
Can anyone speculate on what may be wrong? Here is the sheet:
