Where are the default textures for Minecraft 1.8 located? I have looked in .minecraft but I haven't seen anything.

.minecraft > bin > Minecraft.jar > terrain.png

Open with winrar.

get 7-zip, winRar or equal and open up the minecraft.jar it will be in basically all the folders in there

Only moon.png and sun.png are in the terrain folder... I can't seem to find the blocks and items anywhere else.

~~I accidentally deleted minecraft.jar! Minecraft won't load now...~~
