I firstly would like to say I have loved this pack since I started way back in Alpha. I was updating it myself for personal use to the best of my ability, all the way up until 1.4, where I abandoned it because I was having trouble keeping up. I secondly want to thank you for coming back to the forums and posting an updated to 1.9 spirals.png. I got all giddy like a little school girl when I saw you post it.
I know you are planning to do the rest of the blocks added in 1.0, but I just wanted to ask if I could possibly assist you in either the items.png/extra things. I've already started working on it, and I'd love to contribute if you aren't planning anything yourself.
THank you again for making such an amazing texture pack. It's still one of my deepest favorites.
Just a quick sloppy update to 1.1. Should fix any visuals bugs there are, and make it usable.
Kinda messing around in creative again so expect reskins for the newer blocks (endstone + all the new potion rubbish)
My interest in minecraft comes and goes, and as such, so does my interest in maintaining the pack. Feel free to post your own reskins here (don't need to ask for permission, just give credit where it's due), and most of all, keep track of the spiral power.

If you are okay with it, I would also like to release a fan version of the original spirals with the updates I have been personally doing for my own use. Of course credit will go back to this pack and I will include any edits you may make into mine. Basically just trying to keep this pack alive while you come in and out

I absolutely adore the theme behind this pack--Celtic Knots and spirals hold a soft spot in my heart--and I've been following the old topic and this one for a while now. I have a version of it that takes most of this one and bits and pieces from other people's alterations and additions to it, in a way that I think preserves the overall style and keeps things consistent yet detailed. A few things I made myself, such as textures for jungle trees and leaves and the redstone lamps, but otherwise most of it comes from various other people's work. It's a complete texturepack as well, with reskins for mobs, the GUI, and (a few, admittedly) items, all updated for 1.2.5.

Personally, I love the moon textures. Other more curved spirals kinda take away from the whole feel of it in my opinion, I think it should be kept consistent with the blocky spirals.

Thank you! I didn't make the moon myself, of course, but I did give it phases.
And I see what you mean about the curved spirals--if you're talking about things such as the vines and mushrooms, that is. I'm afraid I can't really do anything about the mob textures, since I'm not that good at totally ripping people's stuff off and changing things around yet, but I went ahead and simplified the terrain file to change anything out-of-place that I found:
A few things are left a bit overly detailed, such as the plants and pumpkin/melon stalks, but that's because there aren't any simple (non-default) versions of them yet. Do you think that this version is better?
